He does the "Call-by". Calls, then if he is not able to talk to the person he wants, he hangs up without leaving a message. Guess you won't be able to use this number again successfully now that it's on 800 notes!!!! Good luck with you venture, buddy!!! You've been 800 Noted!

Guy named Sam Pari called with an investment opportunity.
I was amused at first by his offer to just watch this investment -- he wasn't trying to sell me anything.
He asked for my email address (which is available on a lot of cold-call lists, thanks to Salesforce.com), I gave it to him.
I got really concerned when he asked "What my first car was". He then hung up.
