I got the same call. She said congratulations and I said "oh thanks?" and she was offended by my skepticism and hung up. I tried to call the number back and it is either busy or someone will pick up and hang up. This must be a scam?

I got the same call.  When I received the call I was in an area with bad reception and I lost the call. I've been trying to call back, but it only rings and rings.

Don't call back! It is a scam! They call from a bunch of 631 numbers. If you look up some of the other 631 reports you can read what all the ladies say...

i use to work for this company & of course at first i thought it was so great. like wow this is so nice. when i first started i was given their script of what were supposed to say the these brides and i was given a list of numbers. i was told to say i got their name and number from bridal shows nd bridal shows if this is true im not sure. i made my first call nervous and shaky i got a bad response frm the first girl & felt a little bad. but as i kept going i called more and more women but i never really had luck with any of them accepting to go to the appointments. id always get the same angry response. "stop calling bc im not intrested/ this is a scam leave me alone" i would see how the other workers would place so many appointments and i wouldnt after a while of seeing  me struggle i began to get less hours and i relaly regreted going to work. i only lasted a few months. my point is that ANYONE WHO GETS A CALL FROM THEM SHOULD ASK TO BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST. they feed you the line "you were selected from a bunch of brides" no thats a lie your just another name among a whole list of brides. and when they say you better take advantage of it now bc this is the last time were in your area its also a lie they have like a cycle of calling where they move on from one state to the next trying to see who the can convince and they always returm to calling the places they have already called for months on end. and if you live in suffolk county long island ny  and your looking for a job and someone tells you about this company dnt go they tel you all this good stuff you get when you place an appoinment but they never give you anything. i had three of my checks bounced while working there.

I got a call. All the same prizes as everyone else.  Cathy told me that she got my information from the bridal show I went to the day before.  She knew my name and the location of the show and wanted both my fiance and I to go the next day to their promotional event.  When I told her he's from out of town she replied that I would have to wait 4 to 6 weeks until they were back in the area again.

I got the same call. Everyone seems to know the offers but no one who went has posted yet, till now. My Fiance and I decided why not check it out. It's at the Marriot which did not seem too sketchy and figured worst we had to loose is an hour of our life. We went in and there were 2 other apprehensive couples there and the sales guy. He tried to talk up his pots and pans, talked about how great they were, cooked us a great free chicken dinner, and was humorous. The hour presentation took about 1.5 hours and then he tried to do the sale, so we just told him we are not interested, and to give us the prize. Well, the Prize is technically what they said it would be, but the fine print makes this a scam. First the $1000 grocery card.

The grocery card is not a visa check card, or lets you get free groceries at all. It is a company called grocerycardusa.com which is just a bunch of online coupons, and for crap. This card also requires $5 in S&H (for what?) to get access to the website so you can use coupons. I don't know about you but I get bombarded by coupons enough in life, I'll pass on paying $5 for the chance to get bombarded more.

Now the big prize, the free vacation. Well there is some small print too, I'll get on my reading glasses. More or less, my non-legal interpretation is that to redeem them, you need to immediately send it in with a check for $100 refundable deposit. Then they send you an application for one of the hotels, then they tell you if the dates you requested work for them. You must check in at 10am on a Monday or Tuesday, be a party of 2, and pay $40 per night in taxes and fees as well as any "miscellaneous expenses". There is no indication to how much lead time they will give you in accepting your request, and only warn to not book travel reservations until they have approved your stay. My biggest hesitation is that they will not give me enough time to book a cheap plane ticket enough in advance. There is a laundry list of other restrictions and possible random fees, and huge penalties for not showing, being late, changing the reservations etc. Other than that it seems to be a legit 2 night stay, for $180 cuz with these scams, you never get that deposit back without a lawyer.

So will I redeem this?? Maybe... It might be nice to either get free stuff out of this Odenza marketing group, and if they try to scam me, I could have fun getting the troops organized against the scam, and fight for my deposit and cross all my T's. But then again, I already wasted like 3 hours of my life getting the call, going to the sales show, and writing this review. I'll probably just live out my life telling people to never go to Davids Bridal since they sell your info faster than facebook, never buy this dudes pots and pans, and never travel with odenza marketing group. People can figure out the coupon site is bogus on their own.

Had two missed calls from this number. Called back looking for the representative that left me a message. When the person on the phone asked for my name, I asked what this was all about. She said they were a nationwide bridal/wedding contest somethingorother and that if you visit wedding websites or register for bridal shows or anything like that, you're automatically entered. I'm pretty positive I have David's Bridal to thank for this as well, as they are the only wedding-related anything I've given a phone number to. I've also gotten dozens of emails from DB and several from other companies that must have gotten my email through DB.

I wonder if calling David's Bridal to complain would do any good. I'm thrilled with my dress, but now I'm not real happy with the company.

just received a call same as the rest... saying I won a a vacation package coupons and 20-40 % off of there products, set up a date to meet in a local hotel and in return for me showing up with my partner I would receive the gifts that i have been drawn for. Sounds sketchy. I haven't attended a bridal show however I did go to Davids bridal for my gown. Wish I would have not given them my real number because they call text and send me emails at least 5 times a day. When i was talking to Christin she stated that by us coming to this event and offering our opinions and or buying their products is their way of advertising their products..... I would like to thankyou and everyone that has read and posted to this web site. I now have a better feeling about my choice of not playing along with this scam/advertising their company.

I have also gotten a call from Debbie and she told me that I won all the those same gifts. I knew it was a scam the moment I started to talk to her. The only thing that is different is that I never gave any of my information to David's Bridal. She said that she got it from bridal show that I went to. I would like to know where they got my number from.

Basically I get a call from someone saying I had wone a prize. They told me I was entered into a drawing when I attended a bridal show (which I haven't) so I was automatically a bit suspicious. She said I won a 3day / 2 night hotel stay for 2 in a choice of 20 different locations, a $1000 gift card to grocery card USA and 20-40% discount on housewear products. I was a bit confused and when I asked what company she was from she said Chefworld. I googled it and found all sorts of stories about how they make you sit through a long sales pitch and then try to get you to buy their product. If you don't buy the product then you get your voucher for the hotel but many people have said there are hidden fees associated with using the vouchers and that the grocery card is basically just coupons. They wanted me to drive across the city to meet them at 6:15 tonight when they called me at 6:00. When I said I couldn't make it Maria seemed annoyed. I don't think this is exactly a scam but if you aren't interested in buying any cookwear its probably not worth it. Also, representatives from this company seem to post positive comments on all sorts of media to try and make people believe it was a pleasant experience so be careful.

I got a message from this number and when I called back no one answered, it continually rang. I called back a second time and the lady was extremely rude. She would hardly give any details and got extremely snappy.
She said she got my info from a bridal expo.
While I'm on here, I've also been getting tons of phone calls from David's Bridal, several a day. I have already asked them to remove my name and they still keep calling.

Do not give your phone number to David?s Bridal! They sell your information to all these scam artists business so they can call from a strange number and bother you anytime during the day.

Now I got all these strange calls on my cell, I blocked several, and then they call me from a ?private number?, so my phone does not display the number for me to block it! Unbelievable!

Call From Kim at 21st Century RP Bride saying that my fiance and I won a 3 day/2 night stay at a Mariott, Holiday Inn, or another chain in Vegas, Puerto Rico, Honolulu or a bunch of other cities.  And a $1000 grocery giftcard.  I'm thinking it's a scam.  You have to go to a tradeshow of their wares, then get your vacation package.  They're evidently calling a lot of people telling them they won.  One of the first links that pops up regarding 21st Century RP Bridal are links from Ripoff Report.
