This company called me.  Very unclear on what company they were and who they represented. I talked to the sheriff's dept.  They bluntly said they were a scam!

they also told me the same thing that the fbi would be investigating me, and it would be wise to call back
I am also being told that they are going to start fbi investigation and  want me to send money to the east coasst and i do not owe these people any money...i even called the lawyers office they said they are from, and they know nothing about it

I got a call today from a man claiming to be with the Manhattan Police department saying that a case has been filed from some collection agency for not repaying a payday loan which I have never got, he said the person who filed the case his name was Brain Johnson. The person that called that was suppose to be a police officer said his name was Brown Walker and gave me his number which was 631-482-7834 which is a Long Island prefix not Manhattan. I also got a call several weeks ago from the same collection agency this guys names was Brian Brian Smith they all have a thick Indian accent, I asked this guy for his physical address and he kept repeating one of my old addresses and then started saying "What are you going to do" over and over again and again. I wondering if I got a air horn blasted it through the phone if they would call me back, there has to be someway to stop them they have all my information SS# address (old) date of birth and of course my phone number I think that a former employer gave out my info, if only I could prove it. I'm going to see if I can some how scam them into believing I am with Interpol or something to see what they say.

SCAM alert! Don't even take their calls. Let it go to voice mail. They are scam artists for sure. They cant even speak english. They are probably calling from Africa or the Middle East. They left a message for me saying that the FBI was investigating me and my address was under investigation.

What a bunch of liars. This has to be  stopped. Someone should contact google and have the numbers disconnected. Google voice mailboxes are a free service. We need to have them shut down.

I received the same call and theyy said if I didn't call back they will get in touch with my employer and my family. They have been bugging me for over 2 years now. They need to be put in jail and throw away the keys. They were calling my cell and now they are calling my house phone. I hate those calls and I usually have my older son answer and theyy hang up.

Told me if I didnt pay today the federal govermnment would suspend my social security number. I gave him a peice of my mind and he hung up.

I just received 2 calls from the people. Here is some info on the phone numbers they a google number. I was calling them to mess with them a bit. It went to voices mail and it said this google numbers mail box is full. They are spoofing IP address and senting up google phones. so please do not fall for this.

My calls are similar to mixers but i am still getting calls from them . I think I pissed him off lmfao? He told me that his name was James Brown and that he was an FBI agent, Now he is saying his name is Robert Wilson.

Got the same call. The guy said is name was Adam Scott. Such a common name for a guy with a heavy Indian accent right? Said he was in New York with some law firm and said that I owed over $600. The first thing I asked was what kind of payments do they accept. They ONLY accept a credit card OR prepaid credit card. That was fishy enough for me. I then asked what loan company I borrowed from. He said US Cash Advanced. So I went to their site. They are a company from Kentucky I believe and they DO NOT do business outside of their office. That means that you would have to go to their office to close on the loan. I searched their site some more. I found something REALLY interesting. They have a BIG warning on their website describing the EXACT phone call but with different names. They clearly tell you that these people are SCAM ARTISTS! I just started asking them random questions such as: How was your Halloween? Did you enjoy Christmas? Did Easter treat you right? He got fed up and told me "You mother 'focker'. Go to hell. Bye." I haven't got a call since. I also filed a police report just in case. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCAMMERS!!! THEY ARE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO AND WILL MAKE YOU BELIEVE THEM!!! Don't be scared to call them out. I wish they would just get caught already. Problem is... They are most likely oversees.... It would be hard to bust them if that was the case.
