Wow...I notice that most of the calls re a Bridal Registry were made in Dec 2012. Well it looks like they're at it again with a different number 631-683-5128, Ext. 8915. Today, I received the same call from Rosanna at the Awards Center of the Bridal Registry advising me that I was selected for a Bridal Package consisting of 3 gifts. She congratulated me on my recent engagement and upcoming wedding. The only thing I registered for that came close to a registry was David's Bridal website searching for dresses. Oh she said that she could only hold the gifts for a limited time. No, I will not be returning her call.

I just received a call from Ashley from an unknown number.  When I listened to the messasge it sounded I guess offical being that I had just been at two bridal shows and just about entered every possible contest. So I called the number 631 683 5128xt7536, I found it weird when I called that I gave the lady the name of the woman who contacted me and she asked me for the ext number???? I was also told I won 3 free gifts a set of wedding bands or a 3 day 2 nite trip. Second was 1,000 in some coupons lastly was something about some fine china?  There also going to cook for my fiance and I. Im set up to meet with Jerry this coming friday so I will keep you all posted. I was given a non existing web address www.vrideregistries.com which led me to bridal registries.

I went to The Bridal Registry's presentation at a nearby hotel and the cookware was actually really impressive. We almost bought, but decided to walk away because our wedding and honeymoon are already denting our bank accounts. We left with free wedding bands and a hotel stay that requires a $100 deposit and a slow and complicated booking process. I have looked into booking a bit and if they cannot give you the stay that you want they will refund your deposit.

It wasn't a waste of time because we really like the wedding bands (jvljewelry.com) and the sales person was entertaining. We are not sure if we'll end up using the hotel stay.

Tips for the wedding bands - Only SILVER bands available. S&H is $25 per ring. Engraving is $40 per ring. If you have the ring engraved, you cannot exchange it to change the size, instead you have to use the warranty process and pay processing of $35 per ring to get a new ring. We found the sizes ran 1/4 to 1/2 size large due to "comfort fit". Still, it's a decent deal with the lifetime warranty... If you do not engrave the ring, you can exchange them (I think you have to pay shipping though).

Just got a call from a Joanna. She told me that my name was selected from when i signed up at David's Bridal. She told me i won 2 free wedding bands, an all inclusive two night stay in the Bahamas, passports, and 40% of my bridal registry. She told me one of her reps will be at a hotel near my house and gave me a confirmation code. Luckily, i decided to look this number up before giving up my info.

I attended a bridal show on Saturday. Tonight at 9 pm I received a call from an unknown number.  I don't answer calls from unknown numbers, especially this late in the evening.  I listened the the message and was also informed the call was from Bridal Registry and I had won some gifts. My message was from Sharon at 631-683-5128.  I figured I would look up the number before calling back. I'm glad I did!  I didn't register with David's Bridal, but I did register at Men's Warehouse.

Okay, I've not been to David's Bridal or any bridal show at all for that matter... There was no message left on either my landline OR my cell phone... whoever it is called both, one after the other. SO annoying!

I received this call at 8 something PM (Pacific time). I didn't pick up because the number was blocked. Received a voice mail stating I supposedly was entered into a drawing from registering through the Bridal Show in Los Angeles and that I won the raffle for a gift for my fiance and I and to call Lisa back at ext. 6697.Seemed skeptical to receive a call like this after work hours. Just did my research and the call is coming from NY. California and NY has a 3 hour difference, they're working at 11PM (EST time)? Any telephone numbers that are not scam should pop up as the company in the search engine. This telephone after researching did not have any valid company information, just all scam notifications. Terrible people interrupting with wedding plans.

DO NOT fall for this - even the "free gifts" have strings ($40 for s/h for 2 crappy looking flutes?????!! The free "vacation" is a 2 night hotel stay "unless you buy something" - which is not what they said over the phone.)

And you have to watch a lousy cooking demo and get a "buy it now, this is your ONE TIME ONLY CHANCE, we have no stores, you cannot buy on line" sales pitch.

Want further info? Click below. Just know this also - their employees are MADE TO post glowing comments posing as customers.

I got a weird call with only the last two digits of the number being different. It came in from a blocked number. She left a voicemail saying something like, "I'm Arlene from The Bridal Registry calling about your Bridal Package and a Trip you've been selected to win. She also says she has my gifts and she can only hold them for a limited time so call her back at 631-683-5131 as soon as I get this message." The only thing I can think of is that the jerks at David's Bridal where I bought my dress must have sold my information to these scammers. What a pity, after they got $600 out of me!

STAY HOME!
My fiancée and I went after "winning" an all-inclusive honeymoon package. I double checked the inclusive part before agreeing to go.
We get there - some basement teeny conference room of a Best Western and the rep was selling cookware. After sitting thru this forever presentation (complete with cooking!) we said no thanks and received our prize: a 3 day trip, NOT all- inclusive, no airfare, etc etc etc . Oh, and some random coupons.
The "trip voucher" is in my drawer. I have not called the hotels listed or whatever because since so far this has been double-talk, falsehoods and a waste of time, why bother....

Hi everyone, got a call today from this new number (615) 577-0931
TN, USA stating the exact same thing as above, her name is Candice. She texted me the number and that she has been trying to get in touch with me about my registered gifts. I called back thinking it was a scam, there was a lady who answered that Candice was busy at the moment but would call me back ASAP. She sounded very professional. Candice called me back within 5 minutes and explained that I had won either champagne flutes, or a gift card for $600 to some jewlelry store I haven't ever heard of, or even a honeymoon package. She said the groom would have to come, but that she felt bad that my fiancé is currently stationed in FL and I'm in SC, and that if I could bring a friend to pose as my fiancé that they would still accept that, but that I shouldn't tell anyone that, bc it could get her fired if her "superiors" knew she had said that. After talking with my mom, a few friends, and my fiancé I decided to research. Since ie only registered at David's Bridal to win my bridesmaids dresses, I didn't understand how I could have won something this great! Be forewarned. She is trying to get me to meet here at 7:30 at night at the Hilton Garden hotel on International Blvd this weekend. After hearing all of this, its most likely the same people, so I'm staying clear!

Pretty much the same as everyone else...call today from UNKNOWN. Voicemail was from Rosanna at x6115 stating she was from the Awards Center at Bridal Registry and I had won 3 prizes. She referenced a Great Bridal Expo event, which I did attend.

A co-worker wants to call her back and mess with her...ha!

Just got a call from them a few minutes ago from a BLOCKED (not unknown) number stating This is "Nicole" from Bridal Registry calling in regards to my attendance to the Great Bridal Expo and that I had won a prize. She gave me an extension to call her back. It was very weird because I could BARELY hear her. I had to listen to the message several times to figure out what she was even saying. Plus, there was a phone ringing in the background. Very sketchy..I googled the number and came across this site. I'm definitely not calling them back.

I just got this call today.  The woman told me exactly who she was - it was definitely not from the David's Bridal, but from a booth that didn't really have a sign.  The booth had a plain white tablecloth and I remember seeing rings on the table, which makes sense if that was one of the "prizes" they offer. The man who handed me the postcard to sign up (I only signed up for like 5 things that day and this was the only one that wasn't a chain or local reputable place, so that's also how I know which exact booth it was, in addition to the woman saying where it was located) was very nice and asked me if I wanted to win a trip.  I'm always skeptical of these things so I didn't believe him for a second but signed up anyway.  I hope they don't call a lot, but I can ignore one call.

I just received a phone call from them the other day, stating the same things. I have looked at other websites, some people claim that they have gotten the things they were promised, others have claimed that they had to pay taxes and airfare for their "free 3 night 2 day get-away", and shipping and handling for their "free $1,000 worth of coupons". I was supposed to go to one of their 90 minute meetings tonight, but after reading all of the comments, even some made by former employees, I've decided that this has to be a scam. Too good to be true. Former employees have said that this company goes by several different names, and everyone who has registered at any Bridal Show or even David's Bridal is going to receive a call, no one is "selected". Once you receive your free get-away info, you have to call and set it up. Just look at Weddingwire.com. I've found that helpful.

my fiance just got a call from this place... i had to do the research but it didnt take long to find out... what a scam.. stated the same as you hear... won 3 prizes, dont have to buy anything, but you have to come complete a survey and test their equipment-- they wanted for us to come try some vegetables they were gogin to cook for us at a hotel... everything seemed so out of place and unrealistic-- WHY WOULD THEY RENT A HOTEL CONFERENCE ROOM IF ONLY ONE PERSON FROM EACH BRIDAL SHOW WAS PICKED??? I then called them and Lakeena answered and was being very shady and not answering my quesitons... 631-683-5129 ext 4431 Sarah called first then Lakeena said she had same extensions... nothing made sense--- please be careful... do not let them take advantage of you or your fiance-- very disgusting business---- someone should investigate these people-- this is wrong...they are straight up lying to people to get them there and sell things... SO SAD....
