Caller says you can leav a message on 3 yet it does not go through to anything or anyone it hangs up.
These kind of tactics would obviously no help with any kind of collections and would be more trouble than it is worth.
Obviously bad outfit all together. Also not checking do not call list I would suggest prosecuting them under Illinois Telemarketing laws.
This may be part of a bigger scam to make a telemarketing list or a sophisticaed scammer. States wants to collect bills for companies. Maybe a harrasing attempt to collect debt on people or students, I think he or she should call Pres Obama

Got a call from this number with the Caller ID "BENJAMIN WILL". A woman left a message saying that they were trying to reach accounting or the business owner and that they are a collection firm and are looking to help my business collect past due accounts. She left a call back number of 631-675-1302 and also mentioned a website: www.usacollector.net. As I am not a business but a private number, I think this seems very fishy. I am also on the federal and my state's do not call list so I should not be receiving any type of telemarketing calls. I will report them to the proper authorities.
