Itradedirect is out of business because they were sued for an amount of money they could not afford to pay and were forced to bankrupt the company. Whats left of the itradedirect sales force is now operating as a branch office of EKN Financial Services.

if this guy calls and insults you (like he just did to me) call his chief compliance officer Brian Sanders at 800-859-2240.

Called numerous times from this number by a man claiming to be Timothy Michelman from iTrade. Claims he is a whiz financial broker and will go out of his way to make you money. I almost fell for it, but the pressure tactic was a bit too strong. He had emailed me contracts for investing, but the emails came from a Deirdre Catania and not from him even though his name was referenced in the contract. This made me even more suspicious. I then goggled his phone number and saw these comments and told him never to call me again.

Called and asked for my husband. Said he was returning his call. Wanted his info.
| Bob 2011-06-06 20:53:20 Unknown |
Does anyone know a way to block a number from calling your cell phone? We have Verizon.
| Beavis 2011-06-06 20:53:20 Unknown |
Claims to be an itrade invester (have you seen the site? it has NO valuable information on it, or legitimacy), pushed for my personal email and how much cash I had on reserve. Really, REALLY, pushy. Probably a scam, also claimed I talked to "Chris" and made it sound like me and Chris were boys, like best friends. Sometimes he comes up as Restricted, but I also had gotten the 631 number. Shady, with a capital S.

Caller identified himself as working for iTrade Direct. Company has website. It's a high pressure investment solicitation. Not sure how they are getting lists of people to call. May be targeting "Professionals" and Convention lists. The idea is to give you some information to follow to prove results. They ask for a small investment up front to "test" their know how. Sometimes, these can be legitimate investments, even with the high pressure and seemingly shady contact practices. In other words, the information may be legitimate. They are trying to get clients and cash flow.
Best way to handle this is, if you're not interested, to say, "Sir, excuse me, I'm not interested. I don't want to be rude, but I'm going to say no to whatever you have to offer, and I'm asking you, kindly, to please not call us again. Thank you. If they keep talking, hang up.

Got the same MO call, ask for my husband and when I asked who was calling and seemed hesitant, since my husband did not know the name, he hung up. Calling back the number proved to be difficult since it was continuously busy.
Hope this help

This caller is a scam artist. He won't answer any questions about the business, except to say it is "Mr Brown's Office", and then he disconnects with any further questioning. Hang up on this guy !!

Very rushed, needed my husbands cell phone number, as he had misplaced it and he was at a job site and needed to get in touch with him...urgent. Unfortunately....I gave it to him, as my husband is in construction. He was rude, rushed and then he hung up on me.

He called me for the second time today. He calls himself "Tom Doyle". Every time he calls he asks for my husband and then asks for his cell phone. When I tell him I can take his number and have my husband call him back he hangs up on me. So today after he called, I called the # on caller ID. It is a verizon phone #, he didn't answer, but since it was a cell # I just kept calling over and over (a little taste of his own medicine) on the 6th call he finally answered. I told him that this was the second time he has done this and he either needs to leave his number with me or quit calling. He played dumb and said that he didn't know what I was talking about and that it must have been a mix up with verizon. Yeah right. I just said I don't believe you, quit calling and hung up. We will see if that worked. But the # REALLY CAN recieve calls so maybe if he gets enough angry people calling he will quit. Hope this helps.
