To stop getting collect calls and have him call your cell or home directly the best way to go is get a visa/master card gift card call the number on the back and register your zip code! Go to JPay and create an account! You will need his booking case ID number in order for the funds to go to his accept! Very easy and cheap

Call 631-852-2200 during business hours and choose the security option! Your number will be blocked from any inmate trying to call your number

Suffolk County jails, and or other governmental agencies begin with 852 for out east and 854 853 for west! If you were to call the number back where the original call came from and it was the jail you will get a recording the number is not in service! Most likely is someone dialing the wrong number or one of those harassing lower your car insurance scams! When you receive a call from an inmate who does not have a PIN account up to send out non collect calls it will be the same number each time! Also since it seems you did a reverse check they list the area by what tower the phone was originally connected to! My cell shows Brentwood and I am no were near there

631-953-4600 says it's a Suffolk County Correctional Center. Sounds more like a scam. What are those Guards getting paid for over there. Why are those immates calling collect? I believe if you say yes by mistake your going to have some phone bill? Do I have to go to the DA office to have this stopped?

ive gotten 8 calls so far from this number, its a collect call from a suffolk country correctional facility....

I started recieving these calls Sunday. I get them on my cell phone. I got this number 3 times Sun, 2x yesterday, and so far twice today. No one ever talks, sometimes I can't answer it before they hang up. SOOOOOO annoying!!!!!!!!

When the person in calls you, you will get a recording that says to press(can't remember what #) to put money on. The dollar amounts are $25 and $50. I have a mastercard so that is how I pay for it. I know they do offer diffrent payment options and also a toll free number if you want to pay by a method that wasen't listed in the recording. Hope this helps.

Got a call last night from 631 953-4600, 9/28/09 at 6:08pm, from someone speaking ?Spanish.  I passed the phone to my daughter who thought she heard SC Jail.  I hung up without talking and without accepting charges.  I got another call 8:23 this morning with a service warning of a call from the Correctional Facility.  I hung up again.  I wonder how someone got by cell#...annoying.

Ok, here's the deal.I traced it to the Rivershead Jail.Spoke to security who verified the number 631.953.4600 was coming from the inmate area.Call the jail at 631.852.1865 and ask jail security to please block your number.They are very nice and know about this.

When you see the number on your caller id and answer, instead of saying hello yell out the time she should call. She can hear you when you answer,up until the recording starts its only a second or two so say it fast. Ive been through it. lol!

Thats a little rough does that mean everyone who gets charged with a crime innocent or not should be cut off from civilization? move to china with that kind of thinking. You can block those calls if you listen to the message til the end. you may not think you know anyone in jail but they at least know of you. I wish i could live in a world of rainbows and lollipops where no one makes mistakes and end up in jail. I m not excusing murderers rapos and sex offenders, but all it takes is turning on the news to see the drug epidemic in our country and to know those are the people filling up our overcrowded jails and prisons.

I did receive calls from this number and I know it's my friend but everytime she calls I can never answerr :(..she probably thinks that I don't want to answer her but I do..so I would like to know how do I let her know when to call me or how do I call her back I already made the prepaid account so I can talk to her.please help !!!!!!! :'(

I cannot believe the phone privilege these people have, anytime they want, and harrassing calls at that.
If they are in jail they shouldn't have any access to anyone, in there own way they are still hurting people and their lives

it is from the jail...thats the number my boyfirend calls me from...someone from the jail can only call you...coleect which means you need to set up a prepaid account with ur credit card(visa or mastercard)...a minimum of 25.00 in order to talk to the person who is calling you. and they get a pin to call you so in the recording it says their name.

that number is from the riverhead jail .. its a collect call and you need a credit card to accept it and it usually says the inmates name if you listen

My BF got at least more than 18 calls today in like an 1 hour frame. Its amazing that someone have so much time on their hands. Please STOP these calls!!!!!!!

Who ever it is they call my job all the time...and once i pick up the phone it hangs up...its so annoying...i *69 to get the number and myself and my employees have a board where we tally how many times they call and hang up...some days its like 3 or 4 times in a row...
