Received a call today, but not sure if it is the same number as noted in the posts by others.  I answered the phone, but no one was there.  This has happened several times over the past 3 weeks.  I typically put the call on speaker to see if anyone comes on. This time I finally heard a "hello, hello, is anyone there?"  So I picked up the phone to speak with the person.  They cut in and out, but finally I could understand them asking for the owner.  I said he was not in, but who is calling?  The person answered "Jonathan Miller."  I asked from what company he is calling and he answered "Imperial Bank."  After I told him the owner won't be in for a week or so, he said he'd call back.

I am the administrative assistant at my company and I answer the phone. I answered this one and a guy was like, "hello?" and asked if he could speak to the owner. I said, "Sure, may I ask who is calling?" and then he demanded in a very rude tone "My name is Jonathan Miller. Can I please talk to the owner?" I placed the call on hold to get my boss, who ended up not being here at that moment. Went back to the line and it had hung up. Obviously a scam!

They just called me. Caller ID said Micron General. It took a second after the second hello to hear a male voice asking to speak to the owner. I said, owner of????  long pause, no response. I kept saying hello in an annoyed voice and it sounded like someone got back on the line and said. "thank you, goodbye" in an equally annoyed tone.  Frustrating.

Ok first off this is a scam. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY OR INFORMATION.

Call back follow these directions exactly.

Bot says Hi thank you for calling are you the business owner - something similar.
Say Yes I am the Business owner.
The bot will say Thank you great - something similar.
Then say unfortunately we had to close the business "bots FIRST NAME ONLY, IE Jonathan". Could you please remove our number from your automated calling list as it will be disconnected soon.
The Bot will say something like "oh I'm so sorry to hear that, I will remove your number for you. Is there anything else I can do for you today?"

They were calling me 2 times daily for 7 months strait. I figured this trick out 3 months ago and I never recieved a call from them again until today. I just pulled the same trick on my other Business line... Note they still have NOT ever called back on my other number... I had the same results with the bot as before and I expect it will work again this time as the conversation was almost exactly how I remembered it the first time.

Just got a call at the recruiting firm I work for. Have noted that this is a scam. Thanks for posting so I don't waste my time again. After screening, I put the call on hold. When I went back the line went dead. Same verbage as others, rude and demonstrative.

As others have stated... a robotic "Johnthan" from Imperial calls asking to speak to the owner. Advises "he" is offering a "special" low cost business loan..."would you be interested." I advised "no" and to take me off their call list to which "he" responded...I'm sorry no problem. Guess we will see. Alot of question marks about the ligitimacy of this one. Goes without saying but... Be cautious!

Scam, scam, scam, annoying pest like the rest of them.  Asked for the owner who wasn't here and just hung up.  Very rude.

I just got a call from that number, I identified the business and my name, there was a pause, then he said hello, may I speak to the owner, hello, hello, hello.  That is an immediate hangup clue so I did.

Rude, wouldn't identify himself.

Got a call from someone at 646-200-5742 asking to speak to the owner.  I asked for his name, and he identified himself as "Johnthan Miller,"  again demanding to speak to the owner.  I asked where he was calling from, and he replied "Imperial Bank."  I've never heard of this bank and, obviously, have never done business with this alleged bank.  He then again demanded to speak to the owner.  I asked him what was the nature of his call, and he didn't say anything.  I asked him a second time what was the nature of the call, and he hung up.  Got to be a scam!!!!
