they said i owed money and they was going to take legal action if i didnt pay it they knew my ssn number and everything....so please dont give them no money there to lazy to get a real job

This number has called my phone 11 times this morning. Is there anyone to report these people to? I was thinking that if I (12 times, they just called again) ignore them, they will go away but appearantly not! (13 times)

I got a call from this number and the guy left a message saying that i should call him before something bad happens to me but the funny part is when he went to tell me the name of his company he stop for about 20seconds because he didn't even know the name.

folks, this is a scam.  I just spoke with a man who says his name is Alex Watson.  The call back number they leave is 917.284.9293.  Please report these calls to the Federal Trade Commission and your local law enforcement.  Local folks can't really do anything, but the FTC states they are aware of these scams.  If you ask for the company mailing address and/or fax number they will not provide them.  They harrass, threaten and generally try to intimidate people.  DO NOT FALL FOR IT.  This is an illegal scam and you can let the caller know that their phone number is already reported to the FTC and law enforcement.

Same guy called me from this number today, he had been calling me from a different number 916-395-0000, on both my cell & work phones. I asked them to stop calling my work because I didn't want to get in any trouble for having people call me there, the man freaked out & started yelling at me saying he needed to talk to me somehow & I said, "well, if you expect me to pay you any money that I supposedly owe, how can you expect me to do so if I am unemployed because you're trying to contact me?"  and he immediately "transferred" me to his "supervisor", I could hear him hand the phone off to someone else & that not so kind sir started yelling at me as well. I told them to call my cell all they wanted & that I was going to report them to the police. They have started calling from a different number today. I'm thinking the next time they get the chance to talk to me I'm telling them I filed for bankruptcy. :)

The message I received from this number, at my place of work, tracks close to the one noted immediately above.  He stated that my name and social security number were being used in a legal action and I needed to call him regarding this.  He seems to have attained my new, as yet unpublished, direct number.  Is no one investigating?  He continues to use the same phone numbers . . . .

I got a call from 6462249883 the number actually showed up with 2 extra 3's on the end.. the man left me a voice mail & he had an accent which sounded almost Indian .. he claimed he was from law enforcement dept from NYC stating that they had received some confidential details regarding fraudulant activity with my financial account.. he continued to state that I was going to face legal matters and so on so forth.. wanted to keep myself on the safer side & to call back @ 917.284.9293.. they had called my 'reference' and left almost the same message on her phone just stating she was used as a reference & that they were trying to get ahold of me.. I have previously made a full fraudulant claim upon these ppl about 6 months ago .. now they are the same people with new numbers and different bull crap lines

I got call from 646-224-9883 the man on the other end told me he was officer McClain and he had a legal matter to discuss with my husband. When I told him he wasn't here he asked if his ss# was so I immediately hung up. They have been calling back but did manage to tell me my husband is in legal trouble. I keep getting the same calls from lots of different numbers. They all have the samwe basic story. They claim I owe a payday loan and that legal action is being taken and they are going to save me from the embarassement of my husband being arrested at work and taken to jail. They gave me a different number as a call back number. 917-284-9293.
