In their ads, they include the phrase "CloudTenTravel" or "A Class Above"; if you search for the former on Google, you'll find folks getting ripped off as early as last year, and several CL ads placed around the country.

New scam..probably related. She now calls herself Jane (or Anna) Williams. She said she had Bears season tickets. I feel like an idiot. You just cant have faith in people anymore. Phone number is 646-339-9923 and email consulting646@live.com. Do not trust her. I sent through moneygram and the teller said it was safe with a security code but that was false info. The teller was wrong the the perp picked up the cash with a fake ID (most likely fake). She gave me a UPS tracking number that was fake.  The package never arrived.
This really hurts my children's christmas since we are already tight on cash as everyone else is.

She just did the same thing to me with Bears Season Tickets.  I got the whole story of she just moved out of the city and has no need for the tickets.  When it came time to pay I suggested setting up paypal, that's when she switched and sent me a paypal with the 312215@gmail.com and a different name.  She's using a different NY phone number now 646-319-2589.  And now her email is Online Consulting [consulting917@hotmail.com].  She really almost had me.

Date of my transaction: Sunday, August 3rd, around 6pm
What happened: She posted an ad on Craigslist (in the Los Angeles section under tickets).  I responded to it with my phone number.  She offered to meet with me but said she was going to work soon and would be working until midnight.  She said she was leaving for New York the next day.  She asked me to wire her the money for the tickets $400.  She told me I could wire it to her and then not tell her the code until I received the tickets.  She said she was sending the tickets through UPS.  She gave me an option of when to get the tickets and the prices for sending it.  She said they would get there on Tuesday (which made sense for next day since it was Sunday).  She was very nice and also said she was pregnant.  I liked her and trusted her.

I went to the Western Union and called her again.  She asked if there was a security question.  I said yes.  She said to make the question, ?What is your favorite color?? and put the answer as ?Blue.?  I was going to make a different question so she couldn?t get the money until I got the tickets, but I believed her and trusted her so I did as she asked.  She had me send the money to New York to the name Eric J. Costello.  She said her name was Tabetha Costello and Eric was her husband.

She also gave me an address in New York in case I needed it for the wire.  The address was  301 West 41st Street, Apartment 2, New York, NY 10025.  When I called the police in New York, I found out that this is really a post office near Port Authority bus terminal.  The police in New York said to file a report with the police station nearest to where I sent the money.  They also said to report it to the FBI.

Names of Scammer:
Tabetha Costello, Eric J. Costello (NY), Ameli Luciano (gave this name to Tashia Jarosh and Enrique Alverez), Jessica (given to someone else she almost scammed), Veronica Shenk-Leroy (she posted again trying to sell people tickets, I emailed her and asked her what the ticket number was and she emailed back a ticket number and this name.  I asked her who that was and she said that was her name.)

Scammer Phone Number: 646-295-6966 (one person, Eva Heule, who said she talked with her gave a different phone number for her: 617.304.1274, but everyone else has given the other phone number).

Email addresses of scammer: apcfashion@live.com, sale-789883027@craigslist.org,
sale-780207781@craigslist.org
advertising.marketing@yahoo.com (This one will definitely work.)

We almost got scammed by Jayme Stevens.  If it wasn't for the man at the walmart customer service we would have been ripped off of $800.00.  I called her and told her she was lying and she got upset.  I notified United Airlines and they couldn't find anyone with that name or address.

I replied to a craigslist ad 50% OFF american & United airline booking.  I spoke with a woman named:  Mrs. Stevens aka Jamye Stevens.  I could barely hear her most of the time and when I could hear her she said that I would:

1)  pay half off the airfare
2)  FREE upgrade to FIRST class
3)  Emailed me a baby photo taht she claims is her Natalia
4)  In the process of getting a divorce, her husband was cheating on her.

I am an idiot for sending the money through western union, there is no way to get the money back and we all know how the police catches bad guys, it is on the crime stopper number they provide.

My idea is that we all just keep posting ads re: Jamye Stevens with her email & phone on craigslist to ALERT others of this.

I responded to a ad for Cowboys Season tickets, got an email back from Consultation Marketing - 312215@gmail.com.  Keep asking for my phone number, so I gave her my cell phone, and she called.  Called Id showed up as 646-242-1585.  I googled the area code as its in New York.  I confronted her about her being a scam and she hung up.

Dont ever to a bank transfer for goods over the phone or internet.  Anyone not willing to us paypal or something similar is a scam to me.

I saw her ad on Craigslist as well. She took my money and disappeared.
We should report her to FBI and local law enforcement agency. I hope there will be no more vicitms.

When I called, the answering machine message said  "Thanks for calling The Advisories" (or something that sounds very close.) Later when I called back and got through, the woman I spoke with identified herself as "Tina", "Mrs. Stevens secretary." - it was the same voice as the message on the machine. I could hear another woman talking in the background, also on the phone, so maybe a team or a call center.

I asked for an address to send a check to, and they gave me 301 W. 41st St., New York, NY 10025. http://gis.nyc.gov/doitt/mp/Portal.do shows this as the "Port Authority, North Annex", so she was likely lying.

Good luck in finding her/them!

I saw her ad on Craigslist as well. Sent her a msg. She emailed me back and gave me this phone #.

Problem/tip-off #1: When I called her, I could barely understand her. She talks very fast and has a thick NY accent.

Prob #2: Her email address was a "live.com" which is like gmail or hotmail or yahoo - no way to trace. And her email also listed her business as "Stock Exchange of NY" and gave an address of the American Stock Exchange in NY.

Prob #3: She stated that we'd enter into a "contract" for these airmiles.

Prob #4: Didn't have anyone that I could meet locally to pay for the tickets face to face.

Prob #5: Wanted to use an inter-bank transfer of funds. This is EXACTLY like a Western Union Money Gram. Once the money is gone, it's gone!

Prob #5: Googled her name and found a cached headline from Denver Craigslist stating that she had ripped someone off and found this site when I googled her phone number.

Prob #6: Asked some other travel agents about her and found out she has been ripping people off for a number of years. What she does is books the fare electronically, sends the client the confirmation info and then deletes the reservation once she receives the money. Client can't get the reservation or the money back.

So all in all, I didn't have a very good feeling about her and didn't use her.

Caveat Emptor (if you don't know what it means, try Google - it's a wonderful tool.)
