Got a text for an ad for a welder. Wanted Paypal info and my address so they could calculate shipping . I told them I could get shipping cost right away. They said the "car"  was what they were looking for in Florida . Number shows to be in New York. I sent them a text to not try to scam me, dumbass and they replied that they were anxiously awaiting my Paypal info.

Got contacted by "Elina Garanca" 12 hours after posting an ad to sell my car...

I was trying to sell my piano and got an email saying to text this number. I wish I would have read these comments before texting back :(. Hopefully I won't have to call my phone company and block this number. It's such a hassle

Caller supposedly wants to buy something from me sight unseen....and in another state, wants paypal info, etc., etc.,..this has happened to me before...from rickysaint !  Same old scam...

I'm selling an old car from CA and I keep receiving text messages from this number and area codes from New York inquiring about the car, I wouldn't respond

This A-hole text me asking things that could have been answered in my ad. SCAM!

Likely scammer, 'Ricky Jack' texted and emailed me (jrickey04@gamil.com) about my car for sale with the following message:

"Hello,
Thanks for the swift reply, what is the last offering price?...and i want you
to get back to me with more pictures because i am not available at the
moment, i am in Malaysia and i will be using the vehicle here in
Malaysia.I will be handling the pick up of this through a legitimate
shipping agent that has their headquarter situated in Malaysia.Please
note that i will not be needing the vehicle registration because it
will be invalid over here so please remove the registration.The
vehicle will be picked up after you receive the full payment, so i
really need to know the mode of payment because i need this vehicle
urgently.

I'd like to know certain things too

Are you the first owner of the vehicle?
Does the vehicle have any mechanical disabilities presently?
What is your reason for selling it?
I'm sorry, just want to be sure about the sale before i proceed."

Ricky texted me first with his email, asking me qustions about the car I had for sale on craigs list which could of been answered if the person actually read the add. Also asked for pics which were posted. Ricky is a very busy guy and all being in Malaysa and needs a car in a hurry:) I had my car on other sites online and it was not until I put it in Craig's list did I start getting the scams. I pulled my add after 4 like scam emails.

Have been communicating for a few days.  Looking to purchase motor home.  Searched number and found jricky is a scammer.  Beware.  Did more searches and found telephone number and email address as known scammer.  Don't get caught!
