I just got the same message from this guy that is listed above.  Except he didn't offer me $30 extra.

have experience it before but not lucas and it works for me was also a cashier check  with addiction $50

this guy just sent me a check for $1400 for a stereo I was asking $200 for. Now he is threatening to "deal with me," when I called him out and ripped up his fake check.
Are text threats actionable?

Same exact spill as everybody else with the same $30 situation and on a buisness trip. From the same number 646-389-4503. Contacted me off of Craiglist.

Exact same situation...can one of y'all please let me know the outcome?! I need to know if we need to contact our local authorities. Thank you much

Lucas wanted to buy my omni bot by sending me a certified check  for 30.00 more than i wanted and he said he would send his courier to pick it up after i cashed the check., i was trying to sell this product on craigslist

Just received a text from the same number, asking about a car stereo I have on craigslist for sale.

"I am Lucas, I'm very sorry I wont be able to come see it because I am already on a business trip. I still want it anyway if you could sell it to me. I'm willing to pay your asking price and add and extra $30 if you consider it sold to me. So I will be sending you a certified check for the payment, I will want you to know that you will not be responsible for shipping because I will have my shipping agent come over and pick it up as soon as you have cashed the check"

My reply:
"Nice try. You are a scamming piece of $h!t and I am now reporting you.

i ve received the same thing exactly .  30 more than asking price.  asked for a name and address unfortunately i text back with info.  he said my address was invalid under the usps .  should i be concerned now that i ve given my name and address and also i gave my cell and landline number.  they keep saying that my address is invalid .  finally i google his number and found this site.  i will no longer respond his text .  what should i do now?

My husband also got a text from "Lucas" today with a simular text regarding his craigs list post.......wanting to buy his transmission with a certified check and $30 extra to consider item sold....

If I sent my name and address.  I did not.

I received a text message at 2 am from this number asking if the table and chairs were available.  "Lucas" was willing to pay me an extra $30 if I considered the stuff sold.  He wanted to send me a certifed check I sent my name and address.  "Lucas" is in New York City and I'm in Florida, and the table and chairs aren't that nice.
