I got this message about a pastors son needing my playstation 3 lol.. seemed sheisty. Looked on here and instead of sending them my contact info, let them know a little about how i feel on the subject of scammers.

Wanted me to ship a PSP and games to Africa.  Have the ad on Kijiji. I told him to get a real job.  This is the 8th one of these I have had for electronics in the last year.  Lot of missionaries in Africa with sons wanting electronics!

I'm scamming him back right now. Glad I found this thread.

Texting him s*** back to get his hopes up. Pretending to be dumb.

Same just happened to me today. I texted back and I said order a new one from ebay with free shipping hahahaha

I got a text today from him offering me $100 more then I was asking for my Xbox 360 and then $100 for shipping for this pastors son.
He asked me for my email so he could send his money right away to my paypal account.
I deleted the message, what a scammer.

This dick just sent me a text saying hes going to pay me $200 more than my asking price for a ad on kijiji, using the same west africa pastors son BS story....Luckily I searched up this number and it brought me here before I went through with anything! I told him off now I know not to trust anybody online when it comes to paypal....

Hey guys! Ya same here... This number responded to my kijiji ad for sale of my cell phone. Offered me $150 more than i was asking plus offered to pay me $100 for shipping! asked me for my paypal information.Haha. It's the pastors son, at it again! Omg! I hope these people get what they deserve!! Thank you to everyone who posts here. This is just craziness!!! Scammers.

He messaged me today about my blackberry. He wanted 200 for it when i was only asking for 75 plus 100 shipping to Western Africa for his pastors child whose been working really hard and that he was away with his boss on a trip, wow and then he stopped answering so then i found this site!

They are. I had ad on kejiji and they text me to offer me 100 CAD more and 150CAD for postage. And want my Paypal information!!

OMG Im trying to sell my iPhone on Kijiji and I got a txt from this cat like 4 hours later. Same s*** about his pastors son and he is from Belleville ON but is out of state.. Right there I was like out of state? You mean prov. or Country, then all of the sudden his english improved dramatically and it was taking him a lot longer to reply. When he did reply it was a straight forward, do you want to make a deal or not. So what did i do? Googeled the 646 area code and this is where I came, it's not like I would have gave him my information anyway but I am glad we have all posted on here! What a dbag. He was willing to give me $300+shipping for my iPhone 3!! The worst iPhone ever!

i just got done texting back and forth with a guy in Manhattan, nyc.... i am selling my adobe suite and he offered me 500 more than i am selling for but asked me to send to his brother in Nigeria,...  how do they know think that people are this stupid. by the way, he tried to get me to think he was legit by saying he would pay with paypal and said he would pay for shipping. SKAM   do not sell to someone like this... you will get screwed. peace

i also sent him my paypal info and i had an email sent to my junk folder saying that pay pal had my money and that i would not see it in my acc. until i provided a tracking number. as far as i know thats not how pay pal works so i googled the number and ended up here. so i sent him a text with the adress of this site and asked him to explain.

Ugh oh I sent them my paypal email address too. What do I do???????

I also had an ad on kijiji and received a text message from this person saying they'd pay more than my asking price plus the shipping costs for their "pastor's child" and said they wanted my paypal info immediately.... I didn't give it to them, figured it was a scammer

This is a scam they just almost got me but it was to fishy for me to actually send it out.. the email of the name is john love

Same is her too, the guy send me the text with this same number and his told me the name john love with a gmail I'd. Johnloveii@gmail.com and he also paid 540 dollarsthrough paypal after a while I realize thatnthis must be the scam but unfortunetly I gave my hotmail I'd to him.

BAAAAHAHAHAHA they tried to scam me again! What dummies! I got another text today from another number (646-657-9521) saying their name is Barbara Thomas and that she's a doctor in Avondale Arizona, and she wants to send it to West Africa for her daughter who is studying and its her birthday. Well that's what I gathered from the piss poor English they used. They offered me almost $300 more then asking this time. Here were my responses to them... "Are you sure this isn't for you pastors son? I got that text yesterday wanting the same situation and from the same NEW YORK area code lol" and "Maybe you need to go to a different scamming school, or go back and request a refund to the one you went to. Also learn the English language instead of using an online translator" and this is after I requested they meet me at the same Police station again. LOL IDIOTS!

This number texted me right away after posting my ad online, luckily I have the smarts just like the rest of you to look up numbers before I respond. It took a LONG while for the individual to respond and they want my Paypal info just like the rest of you. So I just responded "how much stuff does this kid need" and I looked up where the number is from and it's from NY and offered me LESS then asking price, so I said well since you're just across the border you can meet me cash in hand and left the police headquarters address lol

Haahhah, same here! I tried to sell my iphone on craigslist and I got the same exact text!!! And all I did was google "pastors trying to buy a phone for his son in africa" and I ended up here.
I have a nigerian friend and he told me that they actually have classes that teach you how to scam people!! No joke!

I had an ad on Kijiji. They offered to pay more than my asking price + shipping to a "cousin" in west Africa. Immediately, I thought Nigerian scammer & used my Google-Fu to end up here. No not answer them!

picked up, and no answer. Has any one or this Website ever found out who they are?

I also got the same story of the pastor's son want to buy a phone. But I gave him the email adrress alr. Is it bad for me to do that. Thanks alot to the person who post this.
