I listed an item on craigslist and got texts from a micheal Davis saying he wanted to buy the item but would need to write the check for over the amount asked and we would then need to send the extra funds to his private shipping company. I told him I'd rather decline his offer until he gave me more information and he quit texting me from that point on

My friend and I have also been going through these problems,of loans taken on my name,and they told him if he did not pay he would be picked up for some charges................then I received a cal from the actual legal company Payday cash a very good person named Collin Mckight spoke to me about this same thing...........i did tell him i already received calls about this 3-4 times before.So he told me that there is nothing to worry about and he would be taking care of this for me so i thought 4 a while and i said ok he told me 2 pay an outstanding bill so that i could get rid of the allegations which were pressed upon my name and after that my informations would be put under secure check and i would be receiving documentations and paper works and would be getting my money back as it was not me as they would trace down that person who is utilizing my informations to take out a loan and recover the money form them who has done this after its paid in full but it might take a little long to trace him down and even other fraudulent companies would stop calling me.So i immediately borrowed money cause i did not have it at that time and i paid him through a debit card and sent him an authorization fax and within 60 working days i did receive everything that he promised even my money.Now i do not receive these calls and i did tell my friend about this he did it as well and as i am saying now we both are relieved I do suggest everyone who is having these kind of problems to contact him his number is 401-526-2632. I had a voice mail from Alex White on my work voicemail.  Saying that it was very important that I call  him or the police would be coming to my job to pick me up!
I think the same group called my mom the same day and told her the same thing and got her really upset.  I think I will call the police department as well

Get these phone calls all day and night.  Eric Williams, stating that he is an officer in criminal investigations and that money is owed and if we do not call back they would view it as running away.  A thick middle eastern accent used also.  At times I could not understand a word this person was saying.  I told them never to call back again.  Next time, I will tell them that they must serve me with a subpeona by regular mail in order to get any response from us.

I received a call today saying that they had a legal matter against me.  I just recently started online banking with two banks and all he could give me was my last four.  I also received and over draft notice from my bank for $30. from Payday Protection Services.  I call the number and told them that if they take another dollar out of my account, I would sue them.

We had the same thing happen last evening. They used the names Eric Williams, who told me a supervisor Ryan Hernandez.  Eric said he was NYPD and gave me an address of 4174 Suiteland rd Bronx Ny 13203.  He said Ryan would call me in ten minutes. I called back after two and a guy named James Parker answered saying all left for day. He was the operator. I called back after a couple of more and got no answer.

I received a call from these scammers today at work, call went to my voice mail. A guy, with very thick Middle Eastern accent, supposedly named Eric Williams, claimed to be from the Criminal Investigation Division. Stating that I needed to call him back today to resolve a serious matter.

I googled the number he left and found the notices about this. I do not have a payday loan, do not owe any money on one. One thing odd, I keep an online account that I used to pay bills from, I haven't used this account in over a year, last week I received an overdraft notice on this account, there was a debit from a company called Payment Protection Services. I googled that company and found they had somehow gotten hold of people's banking information and started debiting accounts for $30. I immediately contacted my bank and told them about this, they reversed the debit and the overdraft fee that day.

I wonder if the company called me today is linked to the scammers that tried to take me for $30?

I did call the number back, told this rat to not contact me again. He said he would call me every day all day and that if I didn't pick up he would contact my supervisor and tell them that I'm an awful person.

Has anyone been able to find a mailing address for this number? I want to send a cease and decist letter and start a civil case against them for contacting me again.

Ha! Called back man answered and said the company is Crime & Investigation Paydayloans LMFAO.. There is no jail for debt... I just answer and say was have a language barrier and the same guy gets on and try's to sound like he is speaking English.. Good Laugh..

I got a call today with the same non sense. Although this individual sounds Indian. He told me I will have four counts of theft against me and the police will pick me up within a couple of hours and i will spend time in jail because i am being sued by paydaycash.org for $450.00 I put on a prepaid Visacard (which I don't even have and never got money from them). This is absurd and ridiculous. Someone needs to stop these individuals and the number they gave me was 646-461-6133.

I received a phone call today this morning from this Eric William. He leave a massage on my phone in heavy middle eastern language which I wasn't understand. He leave a massage again about and hour after that claim that he is an officer and need to arrest me because I am a source for terrorist. He know my social security number. I was frighten and I have to changed my phone number. Is anyway that can police can help track down this guy.

I just received a call from a man Eric Williams, very heavy middle eastern accent.  He said that there has been a case opened on me. I decided to look up the number and I see its someone trying to scam me.  Just received the message about 5 minutes ago. I tried to call back and there wasn't an answer.

He did not pronounce my name correctly and i am not sure of any other information that he did have of mine. I will contact the bank and Federal Trade Commission.

I have had my home phone # changed because of the numerous calls from people with Indian accents that use American names like ALex White, Keven Black, Eric Johnson.  They all have threatd me saying they will have me picked up and put in jail.  I have changed my home #, but today I got a call on my cell phone.  Is there no end to their  terrorism?  Guess I'll have to change my cell # too.

The person keeps saying that I am the prime suspect in a criminal investigation and if I must call him, "Alex White," at 646-461-6133. I have no intentions of calling they have very thick accents and did not pronounce my name correctly, but had my email, address and last four digits of my SSN. I was nervous for a minute but clearly this is a scam. I will alert my bank and police department.

I was contacted by a "Justin Davis" from Department of Criminal Investigation ( he had thick foreign accent), stated I have an unpaid loan thru Pay Day Cash. He began to relay all of my private information to me. This did shock me! I asked for his information and gave me phone number 646-461-6133 based in New York. I told him that I didnt believe him but I will check with relatives in law enforcement. I called my local police department and was told that there is a FBI posting regarding scam. DO NOT BELIEVE AND PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION, CONTACT YOUR BANKING INSTITUTION, ALERT ALL CREDIT BUREAUS. YOU ARE NOT IN ANY DANGER. THESE CALLS ARE COMING FROM PAKISTAN AND INDIA. IF THEY CONTINUE TO CALL YOU TELL THEM THAT YOUR LAWYER IS HANDLING CASE AND GIVE THEM YOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT PHONE NUMBER. I followed these instructions and calls have stopped, but continue to monitor your credit and bank accounts.

I had this guy David Brown call me saying he was from a loan company and I had defaulted on a loan. When I said I was at work and that I would have to call him back he just kept calling and calling. He left a rude VM message. And when I answered the phone and asked for the account # the guy gave me my checking account info!!!! When I asked what company they were with they said they were a mother company for online pay day loans. I asked them to send me some info on the loan and they said they would only send it once I had paid the balance for the loan. The guy had me speak with his "supervisor" Justin Davis. This was complete crap. They have not since called me and I notified my bank of the situation...they said this has happened to several people that work at the bank as well! Do not give them your information and contact your bank immediatly if these people try calling you!

Just received several calls from this number today. Saying all the things everyone else said they did. I had a bogus EFT check try to be debited out of my account several weeks ago and when I called the number on the back, they said it was for the "payroll protection" I had taken out when I had gotten my payday loan. Told them I hadn't received one and they said okay and refunded the money to my account. I'm guessing they are all tied in together. I'm getting ready to call the FBI fraud division and report these people.

i had this call this morning saying about the same thing...however they had my ss# home address and place of employmt....they sd they would have police come to my home or work place to arrest me because i had bought a prepaid card on april 12 at wal mart and they put 250.00 on it and it wasnt pd back...I have never bought a prepaid card from anywhere....they used names like neil johnson , jason,john morrison..and all had heavy accents...

We've had SEVERAL calls from these people. They are relentless and when asked for documentation of this so called load they said they do not have the original paperwork and would not send us anything. Their reply is that they would rather show us this in court. They even gave me a so called court case number but could not tell us what the court was. All they kept saying is that it is in your local county court but could not give us the name of our county!!!

At the advice of our bank we decided to play along with their little game and asked them where we should send our check. Their reply: We do all transactions through EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and wanted our debit card number. We told them we don't give out our number over the phone, especially to some company we aren't familiar with. When I asked if they would take a certified check made payable to "whom" they again said they did all transactions via EFT. I finally told them, "Look, I want to get this taken care of. How should submit payment"? Their reply: Please go to Walmart and purchase a prepaid VISA card for the amount (which by the way keeps changing) then call them with the sixteen digit number on the card. Well, long story short, we have no intentions of complying with their scam. I did tell the guy, Ryan Hernandez, a so called supervisor, that if you hold true to your threat of taking us to court you will be the one going to jail NOT us!

We have notified our local police department and our attorney.
