Had exact same senerio. tarabrandon767@gmail.com. her cell # is 208-278-6138 this time. Person replied to my kijiji add in London Ontario. All seemed good till i asked where to be shipped as soon as I heard West Africa the red flags went up. All they want is paypal email and offer to pay 200 extra for shipping. Glad i googled the email and seen all the scams by this said person. I even let them know I had contacted paypal and i wouldnt proceed till they gave me there paypal email which is one listed above. Mentioned being cautious do to all the scams an so on.Still persistent will see how long this last for as still triing to blow them off. Hope know one falls victim to this person.

Same experience!!! I got a text from 646 543 1014 for a phone I put up for sale on kijiji in ontario Canda. They offered more than What I put it up for and asked to ship to Nigeria. I got the email from Interac E-Transfer from Tara Brandon using TD Bank. It looked legit but it didn't ask to transfer the money to my bank account but asked for a confirmation postage tracking number. I found this odd and called TD Bank (My bank) and inquired about e-transfers. They called Interac and they advised that this is COMMON SCAM! and not to proceed with the transaction. The person texting is very persistent, threatening and swears when you don't proceed with the transaction. Don't fall for it!

Yep, Tara Brandon ... she almost had me until I tried looking up the number ... so glad this site is here! I am from Ontario ... same scenario .... offered me more than I was asking on kijiji for a piece of jewellery ... go be shipped to her son in West Africa ... when I inquired as to why someone would by gold and diamonds from Canada when they  could be purchased in Africa, there was no reasonable reply except that it was a gift for her son working there ... and this person is incredibly persistant ... thank you to this site for confirming my suspicions ... just hope other people take the same precautions ....

This Tara Brandon (tarabrandon767@gmail.com) tried scamming me as well. offered me $450 for my phone I had posted on kijiji. Said she e transferred 450 to me only to recieve an email the next day from a bogus company stating that she had accidently paid me twice and I would have to send her 450 before they would release my funds.If I didn't do as requested they would suspend my account and contact THE ROYAL FBI MOUNTED POLICE.even after telling her to forget it that there was no way I was sending any money to her she still continues to harass me from the number

The same thing happened to me today.  I was trying to sell a piece of jewellery on kijiji and I was contacted by this person who offered to purchase the ring for $200 more than it was worth. I sent him an email and when I saw the phoney email transfer I knew something was up.  Now he won't stop texting  me asking me why I won't go through with the sale despite him "having sent me" the money. I told him that as a recipient he can cancel his email transfer at anytime and that I was well aware of his scam.

I just received a text message as well from this number. (S)He wanted me to send a laptop I had for sale to West Africa TWICE, the first time from a different number though I erased it before I could report it.

they are losers who obviously thinks this scamming works probably because someone is stupid and actually fell for it.

other then this 646-47-7024 numbers watch out for these other ones as well 774-633-9406 and 704-879-1578 (angelina burns) not sure if they are linked but i have those three numbers even after telling them no sale unless person to person and money in hand they all refuse to stop so i'll be adding that in the police report

hey hope ya'all kept the emails send them to abuse@bankofamerica.com i got confrimation after telling her point blank i was not shipping anything outta the states not even for a miliatary man or woman and she said it was for someone here in the states local pd are being infromed and if she/he don't stop texting me they gonna get harrassment charges... i aint supporting no terrorist for all i know i ain't risking my kid and the one on the way with this s*** to spend a life in jail i dont f****ng think so....i contacted the back they are aware of it and for all i care they can trace my ip addy i'm more then willing to help them find this person i told her twice to back off and she's still texting me as i type this message

Received a mesage saying he wanted to purchace a piece of jewellery i was selling on kijiji.  He sent me an email for money transfer and it said to send over a tracking number to obtain my money.  Unfortunately for me i believed him and sent off the parcel (to nigeria) and gave a tracking number.  If anyone recieves a phone call or text msg from 646-470-7024 or 646-543-1014 its a scam!!!  Never am I giving anyone the benefit of the doubt again!

This number contacted me offering an extra $200 on top of phone price for shipping. Said it was for his son in west Africa. This fraud is still at large, folks!

Same experience in Ontario, Canada.  Wanted  me to ship jewellery to West Africa to his son for his wife.  After finding the cel# here I backed out of the transaction but he tried to call me to prove he was ligit.  Also texting me from 323-488-3089 which is also on this site!  Definitely a scam!

Same thing here, offered way above and beyond what I was asking, only to find out they wanted me to ship to Nigeria and use this tarabrandon email to ask for PayPal money.  Told them instead to send money order, no more response.

This is an scam, claiming to want to purchase a phone I had for sale, they wanted me to ship it to Nigeria, fraudulent for sure.   Not sure how they are managing to use this number along with what appears to be a high jacked gmail account tarabrandon767@gmailcom ,   I called the number from my land line and a young person answered - asked for Tara - wrong number,.  Not sure how you can use a legit number in this way.
