This number is trying to run a Craigslist Paypal scam 646-504-5827. (they can change numbers and email address so be careful)

I went through to pretend so I can get further information without providing security risk information just as a game. I have moderate experience in computer forensics to track but thier severs bounce overseas with routes in the US.  I am still playing for fun since its what I like to do but for you all here is some info to be ware of:

A person will act interested in something you have for sale (craiglist as an example but could be similar marketing services or competitors) then ask you if you have a paypal account. If you say yes then they will ask you for your email address. If you say no then they will try to have you set one up. If you got further a provide email address you will get a SPOOF email (Fake) that looks like it comes from Paypal but it doesnt. The email might have you reply the first time to it or it may ask you to click on links to either login to your paypal account or get security info from you. DO NOT click on the links or go any further as if you do then you are caught. I went as far as getting the email and not any further. I have asked enough info via my fake number I use to recieve texts and phone calls as it routes to my phone but not my actual number. any ways I have enough info to play right now and wanted to provide you all information so you don't fall for this scam.

Here is a copy of the email you will receive: it will state something like this:



We are contacting you regarding the e-mail sent to us by Richard Bill concerning the merchandise he wanted to buy from you. He wrote to our desk to made it known to us that he will be needing a little help from you about the hauler and we have screened the process and its 100% safe and secured to go through,we will be holding his bank and PayPal account for your own safety until the whole money paid is credited into your PayPal account.


 

We assured you that Richard Bill is a verified PayPal User and he also has an insurance policy with us, so we hereby giving you a maximum assurance that you can go on with the help regarding the hauler he asked from you, as long as he will be adding the so said amount to your original purchasing price.





PayPal guarantee you that you are well protected and covered by our insurance and to make you sure that every process done on her behalf by you is well known to us and that we will be responsible for any circumstances that happened during the process. Richard Bill has done this in order to protect both of you and our own integrity as an online financial company and also as an insured partner.
