Its a scam. Some lowlife is trying to trick you into giving him your account number and PIN number. He plans to sped all of your money.
You can call your bank - the number is on the statement and on the back of the card - to confirm they didn]t make the call.
Delete the message. Do not reply to it.

got the same text today, 12/8/2012, my bank is PNC and has never alerted me before. This is for the most part bogus, I tried calling the # back from work today and there was no answer or a voice mail box.

Today rcvd 1st text mssage from bankbyphone@alerts.com stating "We have to stop all activities from your card, at least until the restrictions acquired will be removed. Call 646.524.1394 before any." My bank only sends e-mails and none were sent thus I will not take any risk by calling above #. I checked the ".com" address and nothing came up.
