I also got a text message from this number wanting to by the truck I have listed on Craigslist.  I looked up the number and found all of these post.  I responded back that the only sale I would accept is cash in hand. I never heard back.  They were wanting to make arrangements to pay through paypal, as they could not get here in person due to "reasons", and work.  Thank you for posting this, it was very helpful to know exactly what I was dealing with.

I got a txt from this number they were trying to buy a horse I have listed on Craigslist without even seeing the horse???? also through paypal and they said their agent would pick it up....Beware very suspicious

They texted me today interested in buying a piece of furniture I have on Craigslist.  They wanted to pay through paypal without seeing the item. ($2000 item!)  Thank you all for posting about this number.

6465432536 tried to scam me for my car

Got some text messages from 646-543-2536, with interest in buying an item I had listed on Craig's List. Got suspicious after being told they were adding $900 and $100 for Western Union charges for their pick up agent in which I needed to send that money to.  When I told them I would not deal with Western Union and if he had a local person coming to pick up the item it would be just as easy to give the money in person and it would save $100 in charges, I was told payment had to be made before the "pick up agent" would come get it. I of course declined.  BEWARE!!!!!
