This is a bit ironic. I work in the Fraud Dept of Wells Fargo. I happen to post an ad for furniture in hopes to sell it since I was upgrading. I received an interest from (646) 543-8706. He/She said they would pay asking price along with a holding fee. I replied with, "Great! Send a money order since it only has a 48 hour hold versus a cashier?s check, which can take up to 20 days." What did he/she do? Sent a cashier?s check which was ill-advised, and the issuer was Wentworth Institute of Technology through Citizens Bank. To others, this may seems a bit odd. I was able to obtain a name and address throughout my investigation. Name: Esta Barbanell Employer: Bristol Hospital in Bristol, CT Occupation: Accounts Payable Supervisor Address: 35 Mountain View Road Watertown, CT 06795.
After completing my investigation, I forwarded my results to the proper authorities (no, not the local police); and I'm confident they will address the situation. Please don't take action into your own hands, I just thought you should know 1) who's stealing from you, and 2) As an employee of Wells Fargo, we're subject to the same type of fraudulent activity.

Tried to buy something of mine off Craigslist didn't realize it was scam at first. Offered my asking price & $25 to ship it to him. I had agreed unless it was sold prior. We ended up selling it to a friend they have been texting me about being dishonest when I explained it was sold then this morning I get a text saying a check is coming UPS. I'm not signing for it or responding
