I got the same call. Only when I told him I knew it was fraud and that I knew it and if he called my job again I would sue he called me ans f'ing bit** and hung up...

This is the most rude person he says his name is Erik Johnson.  He has called my boss he is calling my call center, my fromt desk at work and my cell phone he will not quit calling.  I do not owe this company any money. He said they are going to charge me with fraud and put me in jail.  He is getting me in trouble at work I cannot accept calls at work.  I am not sure what to do

Just received another call at my place of employment threating me because I had taken a Payday loan from Advance Credit .. Which I have not.. How can they be stopped?

Been getting calls for weeks from "Mac Dawson". I figured it was a scam so I decided to do some in depth investigation.  Anytime I would call this number with MY number hidden I would get a message saying that the "magic jack customer I was trying to reach was currently unavailable". But when I would show my number.. Mac would magically answer the phone to mess with me more.  Today for the first time ever a female answered the phone while my number was hidden. All she said was Hi. I asked for a "susan" and she said no Susan lived there. If u are a legit company you state your company's and your name. U most certainly don't tell someone that someone doesn't live there.SCAM!!! Got caught with their pants down...

I keep getting a call from Mac Dawson who keeps harassing me on my cell and keeps harassing my former employer. This is getting ridiculous!!!

You're right - it's not legit - you have an Indian scammer calling and harassing you.  You may want to print up this thread and give it to your HR Dept and/or manager to let them know what's going on - you can't be held responsible for being harassed by offshore scammers.

Since you have an Indian scammer calling you, there's not much you can do.  You could tell the yahoo that the FBI is tracing all calls he makes to you - that might get him to quit calling for a bit.

I keep receiving this call from 646-657-3453.  Thick Indian accent & difficult to understand person with American name.  Threatening me with arrest & says doesn't care if I lose my job.  Need to call back or have my attorney call or else they will come after me.  They say they are from American Credit Legal Services.  When I googled this company it says it is a scam and so I haven't answered the call back.  Now they are calling my work.  I think I will report to the FCC & see what they can do.  I do not have any outstanding bills or anything, so I am pretty sure it is not legit!

Received several phone calls from 646-657-3453 the guy said his name was Mike Andrew and he was an attorney suing me but wouldn't say what for? He called the next day and said he worked for the credit bureau and was investigating me. I work in a fire department and the line he calls on is the same line used to receive emergency calls. I have advised him numerous times to stop calling this number and he continues to call it back several times after. The local police department has called the number back and they immediately hang up then the number is "disconnected". They continue to call but on different numbers.... I am running out of options and their affecting my job.

this man called my work.  told the office manager to shut up and continued to call back 7 times within 10 minutes.  

I have had the same Indian men calling me that I owe a payday loan Advance America, Advance Cash America....everytime they say a different place.  The EXACT same man with a strong Indian accent will call, but will give a different name...once minute he is David Williams, then Eddy Torres and today Mac Dawson and Ryan Smith were the same people.  They keep calling me desk phone at work AND human resources.  They are wearing me OUT and I'm sure they are bugging the heck out of everyone else too.  This is RIDICULOUS that these SCAM ARTIST keep getting away with this type of HARASSMENT!

I have been called by Curtis Marshall at my place of employment.  He says I owe cyber fraud.  He says it is a payday loan that was put into my Bank America Bank Account in 2011-2012.  Well, for starters, I did not have a Bank of American Bank Account at that time.  He has threatened to arrest me at my place of employment tomorrow, Tuesday, August 27.  He wanted  my supervisor's home phone because I told him she was not in.  I have never in my life dealt with such a rude, disgusting person.  I know I do not owe this money.  What can I do.
