Okay, these guys change numbers, but the routine is always the same. I had my identity stolen and they always want to talk to my "attorney of record." I don't know about you but most people I know do not have attorneys on retainer to talk to scam artists who are trying to scare you out of money. I am pretty sure that if I were to speak to these people or call them back, they would tell me the same thing that the person did over a year ago, that I had taken out a payday loan and that it went to this specific account. Here's the thing, the account that they claim they wired these funds to, doesn't accept electronic fund transfers of this type. It is a pre-paid debit card account. so there is no way that I could have ever received the money that they are claiming that I "stole", but it is pretty darn good evidence that they either stole or received information that was stolen from me. They called my cell phone and my office. They were yelling into the voicemail both times. They can do this. I will not call the thieves back. My employer knows that this has happened and know better than to believe anything these people say, including our staff attorney. Yep, that is right you sorry thieves, I have an attorney who sits less than 20 feet from my desk, and he finds these attempts of yours to steal more from me amusing because you never change tactics or have the good sense to compare lists from previous scams that didn't work.

So, here's the information from this call - Caller - Michael Black, left a voice mail message where he was practically screaming the information. Called both cell and office number. Wanted my attorney of record, yep, got one of those, but not calling you thieves back. Time sensitive matter, really, if it was truly a time sensitive matter, I would have seen some sort of legal paperwork by now in my mailbox because since I work for an attorney I know, that records of calls do not hold up in a court of law, you have to send registered mail. So, cough up the $5.63 to send a certified letter with return receipt, like any good legitimate law firm would do, or shred my information which you stole off of the internet and leave me alone.

I received 12 calls today from them on my cell phone and work line. When I called them back to say "Cynthia" had called me they said they didn't know what I was talking about. They hung up. So, I called back...12 times. They yelled at me and told me I was harassing them and to stop. I said, but you called me 12 times I thought we were having fun. They told me my soul was black and so was my families (?)
Then told them all I wanted to do was give them the money I owed them and was just trying to be a good person ;) They just kept hanging up. THEN I went to check my face book page and they found me and requested me as a friend! These people are insane!!! Report them report them REPORT THEM!!!!!
This is beyond harassment!

Well, I just got a call that said "0" on my cell phone, so naturally I didn't answer it.  checked my voicemail, and it was a middle eastern guy,  said he was "chris brown", and said that he was calling for a reference for a friend of mine, and actually gave the name of a friend of mine for it.  so, you can add that to your dropdown list of call types, "reference checks".  oh yeah, and as the call says, God Bless.  LOL

THESE PEOPLE ARE GREAT, what i do is call them back after they call me giving them the same story back, thatn i start asking them all personal questions & ask why they change their middle eastern names to smith or brown.  They eseem to chanhe their # from a LA to NY/ LOng Island #.  If you kepp harrisng them they wil stop harrasing you, & you will not receive a message with GOD bless at the end of it.  One I even played my own attorney, it was great.  If i recorded all the calls i made it could half sold it for a comedy hour special

I got a call from this man with a thick middle eastern accent claiming to be from some law firm.  He said that I owed Cash Partners of America and I was being sued for theft and fraud.  He said that I would have to pay $5487.67 if I went to court.  He told me that I took out $300 and with late fees I owed $906 but they didn't want the money back, they wanted to see me in court.  I was freaking out.  I told him that I didn't realize that they weren't getting the money and I would pay them.  So he says that he has to talk to someone to see if I can pay it back.  While I was on hold I googled Cash Partners of America and saw all of the posts.  I hung up and I will not call this guy back.  Thank you to everyone who posted something about this.  My nerves are shot right now.
