I told him no I don't this is bull crap, the line went on hold for a breff second with out letting me know I was transferred to this guy name is Corey Brewer. letting me know this  so called SSM Payday loan is filled out a complaint about a pay day Loan back in Nov 2012... this is now 2014  they threaten to serve you papers at your job to scare you. most people are worried about being served at there place of employment, so you fall right in to the trap. not one time will you hear them say we are coming to your home... they may have your home address your work address, I have called them right back at the numbers listed back. they  know who you are before you give them any info... witch means you are in there calling base. a place of business would need to put your information in to a computer, not look at a caller ID to know who they are speaking with.

They're scammers.  No one can arrest your for ordinary civil debt.  We don't have debtors prisons.  If the caller has an Indian accent, you can be sure that they are trying to scam you.  Don't pay anything to anyone who calls over the phone.  Always request a written statement of debt to be sent by US mail.  If fraudulent report to the police.

These people called non stop stating on voice mail either my lawyer or myself should call back immediately regarding a pending case regarding bank fraud. First of all there was no check fraud!!! It was a payday lian whom they could not even name the lender!!!! I'm not a crimal and do not deserve threats of imprisonment. I was and am down on my luck and was/is currently unemployed. They are vicious, malicious and illegitimate. Please find out the facts before sending money. I've sent at least 2000.00 dollars to various callers like this one thinking I was paying off my debts but in retrospect only 2 of them could name the lender!!! Don't send money, give bank info or be scared!!! Just get informed and pay your debts when your able!!!! Peace...

PDL Scam Caller with many threats new number to add to the blocked call list :).. they have been calling my work for about a week now and they are now blocked in our company phones being that i am the IT guy :).

3345391574 keeps calling me aboutt a matter, twelve times they called today. saying your life is being in danger and that your life and wages would be garnished.

just received one of those scam collection phone calls at  my place of employment. the number came up on my caller id as 309-200-0943 the caller had a foreign accent, she was very mean..

BEWARE OF Equity Solutions and Processing--------These  SCAMMERS claim that they have a judgment against you for a certain amount of money but will accept considerably less if you pay in full right now by credit card. They also try to scare you by telling you that this "matter" is ready to go to trial and you could be convicted and imprisoned (for a loan that you don't even know about lol). They can't even tell you who you borrowed the money from. They mention names of people that have been affiliated with you in the past (any google background search can do that), and claim that they were deducting money out of your bank account at one time but I had insufficient funds one time so they stopped the deducting. Then I asked for the account number and he provides me with the last four digits ( not the last four digits of my account). I tell him that he is wrong and he says sometimes the bank changes your account number without telling you (LMAO) So I said send me proof that I borrowed the money  (via e-mail) that I owe the money and I will pay in full right now. He tells me that I don't dictate how he runs his business and that he doesn't have to send  me any proof... JUST AS DON'T HAVE TO SEND HIM ANY MONEY.... He claims that after I pay he will send me a release (that's my proof that I owe the money??????)

Be very careful of these people they start out nice and convincing but  don't fall for it.

These guys are Scammers. Do not verify information, do not give in to them on any of their threats. Do not give them any money. they run multiple scams including

Claiming to be law firms
Claiming to be debt collectors
Claiming to be a loan lender
Claiming you are receiving a grant
Claiming they are Tech support and you have viruses on your computer
Claiming you are being sued for fraudulent activities and that they are government officials or police.

and many others..

They will have multiple numbers due to SPOOFING their numbers. Some of the numbers might even be the victims numbers they are stealing. They use india cell phones linked to United States numbers, magic jack, skype, google talk, etc.. to look like they are in the United States. Even though they got our information sold to them and hacked from the United States, the callers themselves are not part of the US. This is why they are hard to trace and our laws do not pertain to them.

If a company can't tell you their name, and the debtor name they can't be legit. I think everyone should start calling them over and over and over and just say stupid things. Play music. Fart into the phone. Stay calm and they will be furious! It's a great laugh.

You're are right Stacey. These are scammers. They get your  names and personal information from companies like those payday loan companies you were talking about. They won't stop calling. I confronted them and asked what the name of the company was. they couldnt tell me. I asked what my debt was? I found out it was a payday loan I had never taken out. I believe they are buying this personal info from companies and using it to try to get money out of people that don't owe anything. I am waging a war against them. If you get a company that calls and you do not think they are legitimate ask them to send you the information on the loan or debt with your signature on it. By federal law they have to stop calling you at work, and if you ask them too. They also have to show you proof that the debt exists from the company you took the debt with. Don't trust them. I confronted them and they finally hung up on me!! Whoo Hoo.. I don't know if that will stop the calls now but I plan to have a little fun back at them.

I have researched many posts on this phone number and supposed debt collection agency. They also represent themselves as "Federal Loan Investigators" The names change constantly on these guys. You can't understand them! I also found out that the amount of each debt is always $300 that has increased to $711 or $746. Roughly in that range. Wow there must be a lot of Americans that owe the same darn amount?? Or does this supposed company only deal with certain debt amounts??

They have a lot more information then that. They have financial information as well. Watch out.. I suggest you change your phone numbers and any type of financial account numbers you have.

The names of these two change constantly. Confront them. Irritate them. They eventually hang up on you. One man I read said that we should play music, sound like we are having sexual relations, laugh at them.. I don't know if that works, but when you confront them HEAD ON and demand information they usally hang up. So far I cited some federal laws they were breaking including threatening to put me in jail. I am waging a war against them. Help pass the word along!! In fact I am having SO much fun with them, I thought I would just call them constantly back and see how they like it.

Watch out! they have all of your personal information. Including financial. I found this out. Change any type of financial account you have. Report them to your bank. They are breaking federal laws.

I was helped by this company. I owed to money to U,S,A Cash advance and was not able to pay them. On july 17th , early morning I opened the door and received some legal documents stating that I was being sued. I turned up and called up this number, Mr Brian Cooper was the who understood my whole situation. And he let me paid my outstanding balance back.

Recieved 2 calls, one from   612-454-7042 and then from 650-425-1070, both stated he was a police officer from Hempstead Law Firm, the first time he was David Miller and the last time was Ron Cooper, even though it's VERY obvious it's the same guy, no way to not know that voice!  He threatened me with a lawsuit being filed in my city(which he had the name of) at noon the next day, and that I owed money on a cash advance loan, when I asked him when was the loan taken out he said "either May, June or July" LOL  I said "you don't even know when I supposedly took out a loan and you want me to pay you???" also told him I hadn't taken out a loan and he asked "are you sure?" lmao what an idiot...I told this guy to never ever call me again at work or home, 2 days later he called again from a different number.  They have the last 4 of my SS#, which is scary and have my address, which is freaky!  I applied online for a credit card and i'm assuming this is where they got the info.  They leave VERY detailed and threatening messages at my work phone which isn't even my extension so my co-worker is getting these messages.  I'm calling the guy tomorrow since it's Sunday and I just tried but no one answers and ask him since he's such a smart lawyer police officer does he not know the meaning of "Invasion of privacy" and let him know I will sue him for everything he doesn't have if he calls again... just gonna keep my fingers crossed!

i actually had these people harassing me and they had the last 4 digits of my SSN and also the name of the bank i use.  These people are scam artists to the core.

I too got a call from these people at work today.  They claim they are collecting for Cash Advance which I have never had and also used Racial Slurs during the call.  They also called the person I used as a Personal Reference for a legit loan and told her I used her as a Co signor and if she didn't pay it she was going to jail.  They were very nasty to her.  They claim to be a Financial Law Firm and in Queens, NY.  I wish I knew how to get rid of them.  They told us they would call us as many times as they wanted and there is nothing we can do about it.

My wife took the call. They said they we had a large debt owed to some unamed bank and that we would go to jail if we did not answer their questions.  She called them a scam and threatend to call the police. and "hung up".  within 2 minutes they called again, this time railling that "you cannot call me a scammer besides you don't even speak English"... We speak very good english,  so we said "anything else you'd like the police to hear???" The reply was unbelievable... and I quote "You 'n----r' need to go back to where you came from". and with that said... hung up. I'm not sure who these people are but they need to be put out of business.
