I got into the AARP job search in the computer just to give it a try. I did give my name and ph.#. They called  today and they asked for me by first name. They asked if I was looking for a job. I said no, maybe my daughter. DID NOT GIVE HER NAME. I then asked if they were getting my number from the AARP and they said they'd call later and hung up. "We will call later"... the man said.  
This sound like physhing or scamming of some sort. The comment of "Her Dad" has the right idea... Call those $%&@s and let them pay for the 1-800 #. and call them enough times to make yourself a pest.

This idiot called twicw and when I answered my cell phone she asked for my wife who is at work. She claimed to be with some "find a Job" service and that my wife gave them my number. No way!  The woman said I was being rude and hung up when I said that I would not give out my wife's cell phone number!!

just got a call from this number.  I googled it and came upon this website.  My phone rang twice and when I went to pick up it stopped ringing.  I called the number back and I get "you have reached a non-working number"  Anyone?  Anyone?  Bueller?

They have only called me 4 times starting 11/25/11 using different phone numbers. The call I just got was from a different area code from the others (718-989-9373,718-989-9357,718-989-9341).  Next time they call, I will definitely use my old lady voice along with some coughing and hacking, Thank you for the idea.

This is a great idea but they use several different numbers. "HER DAD" (above) seems to have a great idea.

Keeps calling day after day, multiple times but never leaves a voicemail. They also call from 5 different 646 numbers multiple times a day.

Just got a call from this number.  The caller ID showed the name Sunrocket.

The caller is from College Bound Network 1200 South Ave. Suite 202, Staten Island, NY.  Their real telephone numbers are 1-888-338-6960 and 718-761-4800.  They keep calling me and will not stop after being ask to remove my telephone number from their calling list.  They are generating phony telephone numbers to call out with their solicitations.  If you do not sound like a young college age person when you answer the phone, they hang up abruptly.  They are rude when you call them back and cut you off and hang up on you.  So, here is what I found that pisses them off. Keep calling their 1-888-338-6960 telephone number and hang up on them after 3 seconds.  This causes them to have to pay the 800 charges.  It's called getting even!  Pulsetel.com is just a internet bases telephone service.  The scammers are probably using this service to orginate their calls from.  There is also a company by the name of  Family Resource Publications, Inc. which publishes S.I. Parent Magazine at this same address which also is listed with the same telephone number of 718-761-4800.  Obviously this Family Resource Publications is into many different scammers.

Received a call from the number today and didn't leave a message.  Does anyone know what this number is too?
