Saying that I need to be in a safe place or they will have me arrested I think this gentleman works for a Ron Collins that calls and trys the same thing!!IT IS A SCAM!!!

Idiot. John Smith...sounded like Muhammed Amud Abdelrahman. Said he was with the "United States legal Investigations Burea"  I would love to tget my hands around his scrawny neck and squeeeeeeeze.

Good for you! I did the same thing, only I DID call the number back and it didn't even ring - went directly to a generic voicemail. So I left a nasty message saying that I was onto them and don't EVER call me back.

Thank goodness I researched this number! I've gotten 2 threatening calls now from 2 numbers (both listed in previous comments on this site). A man who claims to be "officer David Brown" (can't remember the name of the first one) says that there is an urgent legal matter against me and that if I don't call him back this minute, they will "pick me up" and arrest me at my place of employment or my He claims to be from an organization called "Banking Fraud . .something, can't understand him. I'm very glad I decided to research this number, now I'm not scared, and realize that this is a scam.

I have recived calls for the last 2 weeks from these idiots. They say that I am in serious legal trouble and am going to be arrested. They are so bad at what they do that in the background you can hear a bunch of other idiots doing the same thing. Bottom line, DONT BELIVE  A THING THEY SAY!!!!!. It's all B***S***! Can't understand them anyway. Most of all dont worry about it!!!. Here are the numbers they call from. 610-571-3252, 646-915-0777, 678-954-6346.

this is SCAM!!!  right now we have a real police officer here from our city speaking with the "officer" from the 646 915 0777.  the "officer" has harrassed our employee and our business repeatedly for approx 3 wks.  the "officer" was trying to get our employee to send $410.00 to HIM not to the company she supposedly owed this money. and he didnt want a money order.  so if anyone gets a call from these scam artists with indian accents, i urge you to "play along" get as much info as you can and then call your local police dept. bur NEVER NEVER NEVER send this people any money or a credit card number.  plus what police dept calls a "criminal" and tells them they are coming to arrest you in 2 hours!!!  these "officers" need to get a real job and earn their money like every other hard working AMERICAN!!!

Left message stating his name and phone number to call back he is from india can not hardley understand him.  I beleive his name is don smith. That is what i got out of the message anyway. He was aying there is  a lagal matter against me.He is a scam that is the second one i have gotten in less than a week.

this guy called me.. couldnt understand him.. sounded like he was from INDIA.. but said him name was INVESTAGATOR JOHN SMITH... and he had a warrant for my arrest.. i told him... to call me when he got to the airport..

Guy did the same thing to me ..It is a Scam!!! And you can not understand because they talk soo fast and could not understand them..I think he said his name was Doug ...

This man also called a family member of mine and threatened to have that person arrested w/o given any details.

A man called my company and asked for someone that had used me for a reference. I said that I was on the road and that person was not available. He then started to tell me that I was going to be arrested for something I have no idea. I couldn't understand half the things he was saying.

Does anyone have any info regarding getting collection calls from 646-915-0777?
