We got calls from this phone four times this week. It is an invasion of privacy and a form of harassment. Remove us from your list immediately.

They seem to be calling every 4 hours despite
my request to remove us from the calling list. All you get is a machine when you call back. They also use 855-579-3058. Fracking alloying.

Phone Spam. I never answer these 855 calls... They do not talk to the machine and hang up. Still very annoying to have to screen one's own calls! 9 times out ten these jerks just hang up if you answer anyway :(

They are indeed the Conservative Party of Canada.
It is a fundraising phone bank asking for donations. Unless they
have a rude operator on the phone bank, they will only "request"
a donation. If they do "demand" anything, you should hang up.
They are authorized by the Conservative Party of Canada to
process legitimate donations by credit card. Conversely, if you
wish to donate by check, they will note that in their call
information.
You are under no obligation to give them anything at any time.

Someone from this phone number call me and wanted $200. They said they were the Conservative Party of Canada and if i was going to do this it would be good to give my Credit Card number. To me that is a "red flag"
and i hung up.
Who are these people demanding money??
| Ron 2013-09-21 17:43:10 Unknown |
It's from the Conservative Party of Canada. You probably donated money in the past or indicated you were a supporter at one time and now you are forever on their calling list :-). Political parties are exempt from the do not call list so all you can do is call them and ask to be removed. You may have got your name on the national list also if you made a donation or indicated you were a supporter of your local candidate. This isn't unique to the federal Tories all political parties do this to some extent but the Tories have the money and organization to do this on a ongoing basis even in between elections. This ability is why they were able to eliminate the per vote subsidy. The Liberals and NDP are also ramping up their organizations so expect calls from them to begin soon!

I called back and reached a recording for the Customer Care line
of the Conservative Party of Canada.

Keep getting calls from this number, wont leave a message-very annoying. Thank goodness for call display. Would like to know who it is though

A strange area code leads one to believe it could be pure luck to be called by someone we know who's out there, somewhere. But when there's no voice and no one answering, the best thing to do is to hang up. No need to want to know more about who's fooling around with phone numbers.
