They got me today. I got a call from 312-788-9976 stating that I was selected to receive a free grant in the amount of $8,400.00 that I didn't have to pay back and could use it any way I wanted except for criminal activity. He took down my name, address, bank information and said the money would be wired into my account within 30 minutes. I had to call a guy by the name of Henry Williams at 202-803-4704 to get the money wired into my account. I called him and he stated I had to identify who I was by going to a Western Union with a photo ID and to bring $162.00 as a security deposit. I did this and sent the money to the name of Heather Thomas that he gave me. I gave him the MTCN number and he re-verified my information and said the money would be sent to my account in 1 1/2 hours and that I was to call him back in exactly that time. I checked my account for the money before I called him back, nothing was there. When I called him back he said that there were five more applicants still ahead of me, which was the reason for the delay in my funds getting to my account. He said that it should be resolved in 40 to 45 minutes tops. I checked the account again in 40 minutes and nothing was there. I called him back again. He told me that someone from the Federal Reserve Bank will be calling me in about 2 minutes to send the money to my account. I got the call from a 646-918-5127 and spoke to a George Williams who stated that I needed to come up with $420.00 dollars as a security deposit to get this sent to my account. When I explained to him of the information that was told to me, he stated the representative I spoke to didn't have access to the information that he was sharing with me. I knew I was duped by this time. I requested my $150.00 refund, and he stated that the money was used for charity and that I couldn't receive it back, and then later stated that I would receive it back added on to the $8,400.00 once I made the security deposit of $420.00. I told him I feel like u are scamming me. He told me to prove that this was a scam. He said this was real and that I would receive my money as soon as I made this additional security deposit. I told him I couldn't do that and wasn't going to. He read off all my information-name, address, banking info, age. He stated that he will leave the account open and to call him back when I'm ready to make the deposit.
