I got (2) calls today, 1 at work and 1 on my cell phone.  Indian guy, who gave me a name of John Mclain??   He said there is warrant out for my arrest and that I needed to pay him some money.  He told me it was a very urgent matter and that they will take llegal action against me.  He said he was with Nationwide Investigation Department.  He knew the last 4 numbers of my SS number.   I told him to go screw his sister and I would call the police on him.....   How many people a day do you think they get money from.

PS)    They are not calling from NY;   you could be on the moon; and you can make a fake number.

I starated getting these phone calls at work;  Indian guy....    Don't know how they are?   They said its a llegal matter, not a personal matter, when I told them they were caling my work number.   Does anyone know who t hey are...

This is an offshore scam. We have investigated 2 complaints against this "Jack Adams" this year.

Why won't they arrest these people and throw the book at them.   This is giving me psychological problems.  They keep calling my job.

This number called my phone earlier I did not answer.  Then later it showed up that it was my work calling so I answered it.  I knew the voice wasn't anyone that I work with so I said was not there that I was a friend that borrowed my vechile and phone.  He got very nasty with me on the phone that I sure sounded like the person they were looking for and I asked if he was a personal friend and he said he was with law enforcement.  He wanted me to write his phone number down so I could call him back and I told him I was driving so couldn't write it down and he told me to pull over right now and write the number down and I hung up on him.

These scammers most likely get your name and information because you have used or inquired about a pay-day-loan or something else like that.

Ok these guys called my wife today. They threatened her with the same thing they do everyone else. She actually came hoe crying because she thought the cops where going to show up. I was pretty mad that these guys would actually do this. I Called the 646 number back got the same c**** jockey that threatened my wife. When I asked him what lawyers office or prosecutting attorney's office he was from all he said was they are an investigations unit. I told him what they have done is illegal and they dont have the authority to arrest anyone. He then attempted to threaten me and of course I know better. He tried to tell me that the cops would be here to arrest me in 30 mins. I told him to bring it on. I have been able to do a little skip tracing on this number and its a Verizon land line in New york city. I am also reporting this incident and number to the authorities.

I told them if they call again I will have THEM arrested for harrasement and for telling my personal stuff over the phone. It is a scam I have asked the Atty general myself about it and it was also on our local news. When the news people called them they hung up./

I have read some of the replies and thought i could elaborate.  I have been harassed by the camel humpers myself. Always threatening that a legal team will show up on my doorstep and arrrest me if I do not send them money.  They use a payday loan pitch and they have your SSN, and they did have mine.  They never fulfiil their threats because they are full of S..t. Try and ask them for their Attornyey State Bar number and they wlll hang up. They know they are a scam and will get real hostile when you tell them so. Now they threaten me with the Attorney General over a ficticious amount of money, was three hundred and now is in the 10 thousands. TOTAL SCAM people. Here are some other numbers that I have recieved calls from the same people. 646-918-5945, 781-443-7231, 951-489-0234, 512-646-2651, 646-918-5948, 512-646-2651, 714-882-1910. I believe they are using disposable phone numbers and are alluding Federal officials.
Please pass on the word, these guys are evil, dangerous, and very decietful. Theys use legal jargon but have not idea what they are talking about if you chanllenge them.

I received the same call from 646-918-5948.............victor logan I was shocked because he knew my s.s. no. and my place of employment.... he said I needed to pay pay the loan I received (I never got a loan) When I asked to speak to someone who I could understand he said he was sending the police to my house. Anyone  know how to report him?

hey.........................u all are scamers i jst got a same call that i owed them money and i pais them the money but i came to know thtat they are all scammers so please avoid their phone calls and don't make them any kind of payment i have involed my attorney in this matter......................

received numerous harassing phone calls from this number today saying that my husband took out a loan at the beginning of this year and didn't pay it back. They also stated that if he didn't pay 863 dollars today that he was going to go to prison. When asked for proof in the mail of this "debt"; the gentleman refused to speak to me. I told him that I knew this was a scam, told him he was being reported to the FCC and the police, and to not call my house. I then hung up the phone. He then promptly called me back and told me to "f*** off".

same deal...I was home from work today and they called from my office number -which of course they werent...I called the police station...they say that they have devices they can use to make it appear like they are calling from any number they want...its called Spoofing I believe and I also learned that Majic Jack can do that...
good luck , but these people are not real I've checked every possible angle and they are scammers....

I just received a call from 6460918-5948 and when it rang my cell phone it came up as Emergency Number.  I paniced and thought maybe my daughter had been in accident, come to find out it was Victor Logan about me being picked up.  What The hell?
