I also lodged a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.  These morons have been phoning my house for weeks and I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING THEY HAVE TO SAY.  Freakin idiots.

Not sure if it's going to do any good or not, but I've reported them to the Do Not Call Registry and I've also reported them to my land line provider.  I am sick and tired of these type of intrusive calls.

There are programs in place to reduce your debt. I then hung up. It's another s****y company trying to get you to consolidate your debt on your house mortgage, to reduce your debt. Unless you own a house this is all useless. Declare bankruptcy and start again. Easier to do and then you have money in the future. Debt sucks, but unless you own a home there is no way to reduce your debt. Nobody is gonna give you a loan without collateral. Anyways don't answer this call.

the #306.235.4522 called me 3min. before this number called me Vancouver B.C.
They are all trying to get your info voluntarily and FRAUD you.
If you have debt go to your local Credit Union and talk to someone about it.
Never give info to someone who contacts you.

Just came up with a "band-aid" fix to the problem.  I created a customized ringtone saying, "Warning: This call has been initiated by a telemarketer that claims to have programs in place that can help those with $10,000 or more in unsecured debt to be able to lower their monthly payments by as much as half."  I even threw in a couple of instances of the Star Trek red alert klaxon sound effect for good measure.  Now when these guys call--whether from (613) 667-5301, (647) 231-0203 or whatever number they've called me from, I can answer the phone and hang up right away and at least save half the cost of dealing with them--provided, of course, I'm right next to my cell phone when they call.

For over a month I have been getting intermittent calls from this number, (613) 667-5301 and a couple of related numbers (I'll talk about them shortly). Though I never pick up the phone when I see in the call display a number I don't recognize, I've gotten voicemail from this number (one of my phones has a feature that automatically converts the speech into text). It's an automated voice saying that its company "has programs in place" that will, if you have $10,000 or more in unsecured debt, "help you lower your monthly payments in half and reduce your total debt by up to 50%". They add at the end, "If you are not interested, press 2"--or whatever number--"to be removed from our calling list." Of course, by the time you hear *that* in the voicemail, it's already too late to press that number.

These people have called me three times in the last month or so between two cell phones for which I've been paying on a prepaid plan (I set up these phones with numbers in different area codes for different cities because I'm a musician and I'm trying to expand my market). In effect, they have "stolen" the airtime from me twice in each case--once when they left the voicemail, and once when I accessed the voicemail itself only to discover the caller wasn't a client. SHAME on them.

In addition, they have called me on two other occasions on a cell phone that my brother got for me for his insurance business and for which *he* is paying the bill. For the first of those calls, the number didn't show up at all--it was merely a notation of "UNKNOWN". For the second, they had clearly munged the phone number, as it showed up as "226-289-170"--hardly a NANP-compliant number format. If they feel they have to resort to such munging tactics, this smacks of utter cowardice to me. It's hardly any better than those "This is your captain speaking" calls.

If anyone is TRULY in debt, it's these people--every time they call someone, they incur just that little bit more of moral debt. And I feel they owe me the airtime they have forced me to lose--and that airtime is proportionately more valuable to me than it is to them.  What if a client had been trying to get through while this telemarketer was busy calling me?  He may well decide to go look for another musician because he can't get through.  And there goes some of my business.  We shouldn't have to put up with this. We don't need to have "ad callers" clogging up our lines or "stealing" our prepaid minutes.

If there's a number I can call to get myself off these people's lists, I'd love to know.  It's a dreadful pity that it would cost me more in legal fees to sue them for the value of the airtime they have "stolen" from me than the value of the airtime itself.  If these calls continue to proliferate, there may well come a time when I won't be able to *afford* my cell phones any more.  The Celine Dions and Whitney Houstons of the world would likely not have gotten where they did if, during the early part of their careers, their business had been hampered by telemarketers like this.  I don't know if I'll get to that level of achievement myself, but I do know it'll take me longer to advance toward that level with these callers wasting my prepaid airtime than if they weren't calling in the first place.

647-231-0203 is a recording that leaves voice message selling debt relief stuff. Very annoying and uses up my minutes to check the voice mail. Costs me $ for roaming, etc to check the voice mail too for this unsolicited telemarketing.
