Thanks for the post. One thing I forgot to mention is the process for a foreign worker getting a job in Canada. The rules are VERY clear. If, and only if, a suitable worker cannot be found in Canada. One of my favorite job scam posts is the job at a Banff, Alberta hotel, washing dishes, for $20.00 an hour. Can I have that job?. . . Can I have that job first!

In addition to the errors in grammar and spelling I would very hesitant to open that attachment since it may contain malware.  Asky yourself this question:  Did you send them a resume?  If the answer is no, then this is a fake E mail.  In addition this is from the UHN official website:
Please be advised we are aware that a few people from outside of Canada have received email(s) from someone claiming to be from University Health Network. These emails request additional personal information. These emails are NOT from University Health Network nor are they from anyone representing University Health Network. It is not the practice of University Health Network to ask for additional information via email, or to extend the offer of a job without first conducting a proper interview and recruitment process. It is not necessary to bring these emails to our attention. They should be immediately deleted by anyone receiving them.?

100% of all job offers by email, fax, phone, & text are fake. Everyone of them. Is it a scam?
(1) The salary & benefits are too high for the job.
(2) I am not qualified for the job, but they are offering it to me.
(3) The job is in Canada, but I'm in another country.
(4) They are asking for money up front for (training/material/visa/etc.)
(5) They want my banking, and personal information
(6) I'm being asked to send money by a wire transfer (Western Union, MoneyGram, etc.)
(7) They use free web based email address' (gmail, yahoo, accountant, etc.)
(8) The company is real, but there is no person there by the name given to me.
(9) They want me to do a job interview by web chat.

rcvd job offer from Chevron Canada with above telephone number saying it was Vancouver, Canada. When I rang it sounded like the guy was African and when I pushed he made a couple of slight slip-ups. It should've been 5am in Vancouver but the guy said it was midday which fits into where I called from and he was probably Nigeria or similar.
