E-mail was paulmaselo@hotmail.com. Any idea how to bait him in giving some info? I know some people got ripped off and trying to get this guy. If I can help I will.

I got the same exact email that derek posted. He texted me from 514-437-2491. His email was completely ridiculous, telling me he worked offshore in new york and that he would pay a shipping company to pick up my 500 dollar guitar amp ( in reality this would probably cost thousands to ship) and obviously made no sense. I looked him up and somebody posted what they say are pictures of him on scamwarners.com, which is weird because they are of a white guy, but he writes like one of those african phishing scammers. He didnt get money out of me, but it pisses me off because he wasted my time and got me to email him pictures before I realized it was a scam. I can see how people can be taken. Its too bad he hasnt been investigated because there must be loads of evidence everywhere, with all the emails and phone numbers he seems to be throwing around.  But these things probably arent investigated at all.

Got a call from my grand daughter telling me she was in Canada and was in a car accident, and that a very nice lawyer would call me in a few minutes.  He did, told me she was unhurt but needed $850.00 for bail as she was booked into the local lock-up for DUI.  I did some fast thinking as I didn`t believe either of them, I called my grand daughter, she was at her home.  A total SCAM, and a good one I must say, I called the local police and they came to me house telling me they get these calls all the time.  Especially to seniors, I`m a senior so I guess that makes me smarter than the average senior.  If you don`t know the person calling---- hang up and save yourself a lot of grief.

This John Kody tried doing the same thing to us. I forward all emails to pay pals fraud account. John Kody is a total scam artist. Does really think we are going to pay money to receive money..

John Kody just contacted me for a guitar I am selling. Haven't gave any information and current number is 1(541)646-7781. Originally texted me asking about the "furniture" I had for sale. That's what set me off. Hope this helps for anyone who lost money.

Agents name this time was Joseph Tedd Baker, before that it was Ricardo Walker, before that it was the agent in China....which someone had mentioned already, they found Ricardo Walker had been dealing with money fraud i got my refund there but fell for it again

I am currently dealing with John Kody. He even called me insisting paypal had sent me money. I smelled scam and looked it up and here I am.  When I told him I received no notification from paypal he threatned legal action because he said the money was taken from his account. On the phone he sounded African. He's expecting me to reply today.

John kody just texted me regarding a stroller I put out on kijiji and what made me suspicious was the 604 area code, so not local and the fact he's asking info on the item all that's available on kijiji. He texted me from

I'm sure glad I decided to look this number up, even though its a different number I received...a guy by the name of Jon Kody has been harassing me the last couple of days about some concert tickets I put on Kijiji...I got the exact same email message that the other Derek received...I think I have an idea of what I'm going to say to him now...it just goes to show, if it sounds suspicious, DO NOT send any money until you check it out, folks...these guys texted me from two different numbers...

I sent him an email telling him to go to hell, and I recieved the email that Derek posted. So it's obviously automated.
