This is a simple Nigerian advance fee scam. You will get a letter, text, or email from either (1) I won the lottery & want to share (2) I'm a dying rich woman/man who has picked you to get my money (3) I'm in the military & found millions, help me move it out of the country (4) You won the "so-and-so" lottery. OK, those are the basics. Part two comes when you will be asked to pay a "fee" for (a) a check, (b) Courier parcel (3) Taxes on the money (4) To pay for shipping. 100% of the time it will involve a wire transfer, Western Union, for example. Translation: CASH! CASH Money that can be picked up anywhere in the world. I'm sure you see how this will end. You'll send out your money. . . and get nothing.

I am from Indonesia and got the same message exactly like the message you got from a person who called himself Mark Hill. Strange! I thought that only Malaysia's number they used for spam but it seems now also US numbers.
