These scammers have started again.

Got a call today at 2:15pm from 647-925-9988.  I didn't answer and no message was left.

I had this number call me. I didn't answer due to me being too busy consuming my cereal. Instead of calling back I googled it and found my way here. Thanks everyone for letting me know it was a scam. I won't bother calling back.

I just received a call on my cell saying as a valued costco member I was to press one for my gift. Obviously another scam

I just booked a hotel room a few days ago. I received a call both on my work cell (Bell) and my personal cell (Rogers). I'm in Windsor, ON

This is a scam..  A recorded message tells you that you are a favouritte customer and you are getting a promotion

I emailed YAK.  They claim this number is not assigned to any of their customers.

When I answered they said I was a "valued Costco customer" and Press 1 to receive a prize. Pressed 1 to ream them out but the call dropped. Pity. It's fun to do and hopefully makes the person on the other end feel bad about their occupation.

I got a call from this same number 647-925-9988. I am a rogers user (blackberry). I didn't answer but am pretty sure its not CIBC Visa as I've never been with them. HOWEVER this is only a 5 month old phone number.

It is a Toronto/Ontario number -- won't answer again. It's prob one of those scam calls -- i'm sick of it!

The recording said "As a valued Bell customer you have been selected to receive $3000 ..." I hung up right away; sounds like a scam. I'm in Edmonton, AB. This number is from Ontario. I have no business with Bell at all.

Just got a call from this number offering a $3,000 travel reward.  Press 1 to accept.
I hung up.  I called the number on a land line and got the message that this number is out of service.  Strange.

In Vancouver, with Rogers - didn't pick up. No message.

Have taken @Allison's advice above - I've set up a contact called "Ignore" and started adding these numbers to it.

Just got the call, and ask me to press 1 for a special gift. I just hung up.

you should have pressed 1 deary, I received $2600 from bell as well. oh dear, maybe next time.

i got the same thing, but it said "telecom new zealand"....i'm in toronto. strange.

Oh! and I'm from Hamilton, ON. and an unfortunate Bell slave...i mean customer. ;)

Just got a call but didn't pick up because of the different area code. Also from Vancouver and am a Rogers customer.

I just got this call at 1:30 pm.  I never answer numbers I don't recognise.  I've been screwed too often by answering unknown numbers and ending up on "verified caller lists" among telemarketers.  I don't want to have to change my number again.

Just got the call. Said I was a valued Costco member. Pressed 1 so I could tell them off but the call just disconnected. Get these type of calls at least once a week and I'm getting pretty annoyed. I'm in Canada and have put my number on the national DNC list but it doesn't seem to be doing any good. Arrrrgh.

These F***ers just called me, sick and tired of annoying phone calls!!!

Received a call at 4.10 pm today in Vancouver. Did not answer.  Clearly I'm not alone!

Got a call in Kitchener ON at 7:05 pm - I am a Bell customer, but missed the call...checked the message & only caught the tail end - 'travel miles, to accept press 1'.  Sure this is a scam to take people's numbers & charge the long distance to them.  

Happy I didn't get the call & that this website is here!  Hope they get shut down.
