Got a text saying I paid Eat Something 18$ ... WTF Im sitting at home... This wont actually show up on any of my cards will it... prob just a wrong number entered.

I received a text on my phone yesterday 2/23/2014 from this (647) area code number that read..............

  You paid JDM Automotive $75.00 and to view full receipt had a link to click on. Well I closed it right away knowing it was B.S. because 1. I did  not have my car worked on for it is brand new and 2. It had a link and if they were sending any kind of receipt it would be via mail or email not link in a text. C'mon get a real job you dumb a** criminals. When I got home I looked up this area code to find out it was out of country. Yeah right! I hope they find you idiots and you know it comes back on you three times fold weather you believe it or not so you might want to invest in a new career than taking advantage of people.

I received a text that said "YOU paid The Strand $130.00 Receipt:squareup.com/r/occggdyp5gjbs-prkswd reply w/ app to get a free square reader.

I rcvd text receipt for $395.00 for Photo Art app that I did not order.

the message is coming in response to a charge through a mobile credit card transaction. If your cell number is attached to a card that was used. I paid a guy using this mobile credit card process and my wife received the text. hope this helps

I have gotten fully valid receipts from 647-931-6468 after using a credit card to pay for services done via cellphone connected card reader. The conjuncted website is squareup.com. Obviously, if anyone enters in the wrong cell phone number while a credit charge is entered, someone else gets the text. Spam or not? Its not intentional spam at least.

Also if you call 647-931-6468 you get a strange recorded message that says "you can use this number to configure your URL ... let us know if you need any help with your development." Then it hangs up. I think this is a spam number used to create spam url links.

I received 2 text messages from 647-931-6468:

First text was on November 2, 2013 and said "You paid Clifton Taxi $128.41. Receipt: squareup.com/r/2siz-itnnwcnfzwdv1ff Reply w/APP to get a free Square Reader. Replay w/HELP for more, std rates apply.

Second text was on November 18, 2013 and said "You paid Delicacies $37.51. Next time pay with your name by setting up a tab: squareup.com/verify/A8NKCEXBV15A6

I don't know why I'm receiving these messages. I did not make either of these transactions. I didn't click on either link because I think these text messages are spam.
