got a call from the same phone number.

Received exactly same call, but couldn't hear  the name of the company. at 1:52 PM Calgary,AB time

Just got a call from this number too, saying it was the Canadian Tire and i won 3000 something, it woke me up so i just hung up. good to know its a scam

Just got a call from this number to my cell phone but missed it.  They didn't leave a message and looked online before attempting to call back.  Good to know it's worth missing in the future!

I have received a few calls from this number, i never answer it and they never leave a message.  It called again today and i called it back... the phone number is not in service.  So i am thinking SCAM

Just got a call from them saying something like "Since you are a valued canadian tire customer, we are giving you 3000 travel dollars. Press 1 to continue."
Since i've only shopped there once in the past year, I hung up and googled 'canadian tire valued customer travel dollars' and found information on this scam but under a different number.

Called me today.  Hang up on my machine.

I received the call on my Rogers cell phone. They said, "hello, because you are a valued canadian tire customer we woulld like to offer you $3000. Press 1 to receive this offer" . I hung up and called customer service at canadian tire. They say the authorities are looking into it. I also called the number: 647-980-8989. It's not in service. Just be savvy and hang up!

I just got a call from them as well. Tried to call them back and it said the number could not be completed as dialed. Ugh...Stop calling me!!!

I got a call from them this afternoon on my rogers cell and didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number. no message was left either.

just got a call too...shows it's from Ontario, Canada. Isn't it illegal for them to call cell-phones from the do-not-call list?

called my cell half an hour ago, didn't answer since it's long distance and i didn't know who it was, got a voice mail that was a hang up.

just got one, can't trace it anywhere.

I got a call as well from this number, I'm not sure if they are in any way connected to Rogers, I have a Pay as you go phone for emergency use only and I get the calls only on this phone, so far none on other cell phone or home phone. My "conspiracy theory" is Rogers is placing calls to eat up minutes on you cell phone.

Had gotten a call from this number a couple of times and they had left no message. I tried calling them back but it was out of service. Be careful out there guys!

They just called me at 9:50am this morning, I was asleep so I didnt answer it. Good to know its scammers so I can avoid picking up this number in the future.

Just answer the phone and say your from your local police Dept. :)  Illegal yes but so is there phone crap
