Caller hung up. Moments later, another call came in from (905) 135-3647. Caller was a telemarketer. Hung up. Odd to get the calls back to back.

person(calling himself Jerimiah) called and said he was from bell mobility and said i was eligable for free cell phone. when i told him i already had three cell phones, they hung up.a scam for sure.

I also got a phone call from 905-135-3647, said they were affiliated with Bell Mobility and that because of my home phone number,  I was eligible for a free Blackberry if I subscribed on a monthly plan.

sounds VERY suspicious. Asked to speak with someone else in the household or to friends and family that could use a free phone.

WHo is this guy who called me and asked for me by my name, then hung up??

Call on April 21, 2010. Didn't recognize the number so I didnt answer. No message was left on the VM either.

No, it is not a call from Canada, it is overseas Turks and Caico Islands!  They tell you Canada so you will not suspect they are calling from overseas.  This is a notorious scam area code.

I also answered, and they said "is this (my name)", and when i said yes, they hung up as well

they called and then it said there was a message on my phone and when i checked the messages it was just someone hanging up...
