I got a text message from this phone number and they have my name!! I am so upset. I'm SICK of solicitors!

The text message says, "Jessica, real security for you & your family, 7yrs. ago someone asked me to listen to this call 650-450-3292 Best month $17,000 simply returning calls."

I have NO idea who this is. I called the number from a number I have that isn't listed and it was a marketing scam I'm sure. It just makes me mad that there aren't more laws for these jerks who invade your privacy!

This IS a scam I think it stems from parasites on craplist (aka craigslist).

I got the same text about 5 mins ago, unfortunately I had some issues with husband a few years ago putting my cell number into these web sites to get free crap, and work at home opportunities.  I did some research on the web and found out if you reply with "STOP" to the unsolicited text they are supposed to not contact you anymore.  It worked for me.  This is first I have gotten in six months, and of course I have the ding dong hubby to thank for this one!

I used manage a home based business opportunity company and man was I shocked when I found out the details on how it was run and how 95% are run.All I have to say is NEVER pay anything upfront for any home business until you fully check out the company. It's very easy to do. Start with the Better Business Bureau, SCAM.com, and a simple google search. Needless to say once I found out about home based business practices I quit that company and would never go back in that industry.
To let everyone know the people saying "don't knock it until you try it "or "you submitted you information somwhere" are most likely employees of this compnay or an employee of the MLM company. Mosy are probably sales people trying to put out positive information so they can trick others.

The only way people have you information is when you all give it out no other way is your information being used except you all are supplying it on the Internet just like your on this page you are all giving information that ties you all in. So don't fill forms online or this is why you all receive information.  Also don't try to play a blame game because everyone here has a ip address timestamped when you summitted your information along with your address time that each of you are now complaining about so STOP summitting information than blaming someone else...

Don't call it, it's a scam, and no the people who posted up there did not actually call anything- they just work for it (and guess what- everyone here knows it! you're not fooling anyone.)

I'm on the do not call and still got it, so it is illegal and we all need to report it - I want 10 cents for the messaging back.

the do not call list is for land lines & cellphones. it's free and provided through the government website www.donotcall.gov there you can list all your phone numbers- they will send you an email with a link to complete the request- this needs to be done within 72 hrs. There is a link to file a complaint as well. Good Luck! Also keep in mind that there are people "out there" who post in attempt to get a rise out of others- try to overlook them. Please pass this info on to friends & family- Good Luck!

I called for fun to see what this call was all about in my first week I received 7,000 this works better then a stupid job and my boss that don't about the feild I work in everyone this is real it worked for me in my first week. Please don't knock what truely works just because someone doing good for others and most important don't destroy what good is because you only live once in life and you don't want to bring negative things to your life just because you think someone doesn't do things the way you like it done it's wrong when people hate each other for what they themselves lack.  So like so many of you writing negative remarks about someone else just be ready for the something to be done to you as well you reap in this world what you sow so I would recommend not to slander others when you don't know what you guys are talking about so in respect to yourself don't hate others because you now have to look at yourselfs in what you lack which is money that's what you must face is the lack of money you all here don't have so you say negative stuff to pig down what I'd real and working until Christmas I will continue generating cash!!

Its was a MLM network marketing.. They want you to join and something like fill-up the form etc...

Caller has been sending me unsolicited text messages.

I am receiving unwanted text messages from this number.

me too and referd to me as a name that my friends and family only know me as. like they know me . saying that i sould call some 314-260-6262 to earn money returning phone calls... and that there best month doing this was 17000 bucks....
