Same here.  Circle app download.  Knew my first name.  Stay away from this.

I got the same request to join the "circle app.com".  The twist is they somehow know my wife's name and addressed the text to her.

I have a corporate Facebook account. At work I go by a different name and it is on my corporate Facebook. When I got a text from this number it called me by my work nickname. They get your number from Facebook.

Change your password to what?

Got a text:

Hey L**** (my name), Rory sent you a message and added you to their local network on Circle.  Install to view.http://circleapp.com/downloa?sms=2

How do they know my name?
I don't have a friend named Rory.  

I just got a message from this number saying Hey Kaili! Jeremy added me to a local circle... Who the f*** is Jeremy?!?! and how the F*** do you know my name...

I got the same message wanting to add me to a circle of friends  !!!  I knew something was strange ,that's why did not click on the link ....   Guess it is time to change my password ,   There has to be a sour Tomato in every store  !!  

I received a text today saying "Barbara sent me a message and added you to their local network on Circle. Install to view. http://circleapp.com/download?sms=2".....   of course now that I've written a complaint here, I'm deleting the text!

Unknown text from an unknown caller - said "Madi" had added me to her circle...???

I got the "add to circle" message today (12/7/2013). It said it was sent by someone I know, but of course the number did not match. I added the number to my phone's block list and deleted the message (without clicking on the link).

Also wanted me to click on the circle link. Said that "Pam" sent me a message and wanted me to join her circle. I deleted the text.

Not only did I get a text from this number today, I got a similar one from a 415 area code yesterday. It appears to be a Bay Area thing.

I had to block this number with Verizon a so called Jodhpur states I have been added to their "local circle" and they want me to click on the link to install and view NO THANK YOU! I delet message and they sent another one until I blocked them. SMH!!!

Some one is selling our names and phone numbers... I hope they loose their eyesight .... c***sucking mother f****r
