Just got a robocall offering carpet cleaning.  I dialed through to talk to a live person and got someone whose English was unintelligible.  I asked him for the name of the company and he would not tell me.  Clearly a scam.  My number is on the do not call list.  I will report this to the FCC.

Dialing the number back gives a busy signal.

Just recieved call this morning.  Person claimed that he was from Ghana, when askedhow my number got in his hands, he claimed he got my number from a Mr. Walker in Ghana.  Then he started talking about a consignment.  I could tell he was reading from a script. I hung up on him

This number calls me at least 2 times a day, in the past 4 days, I do not answer it, would like to know who they are,

I received a call this afternoon. This is the fourth or fifth call in the past few weeks. The woman said the company name was Super Saver. I told her to not to call again, take me off their list and hung up. I added the telephone number to my block caller list.

Caller had a thick accent, asked for my boss but sounded very different from his name at first.  He is peddling some marketing and lead generation help.  Told him we are already locked into a 3 year contract with a different vendor.  This excuse works for all kinds of "value propositions" that people call and try to sell.

He never did mention the company or his name.

Just received a call from this number - looked strange so instead of picking up I Googled it immediately - thank goodness internet is so fast!  Saw this posting and realized I didn't want to play their game, didn't pick up.

Got multiple calls; caller hung-up.  Call back did not work.  No longer in service message.

Received another call from this number at 8:23pm on 4/30/08. I called the number but no response--scammer no doubt

I got a call this morning and when I returned the call it was busy signal.

Received an unsolicited auto dial call from this number, offering carpet cleaning.I report all unsolicited marketing calls, even if they allegedly offer an opt out number, to the FCC.

just got two back to back calls to my home office number and they did not leave a message

Just got a call, too, and could hear chewing noises each time I said hello.

Very strange and disruptive.

This guy has called me at both of the Grandcentral Accounts.

Yeah, I got two calls, back to back a minute apart, from this number.  Problem was, the calls were at 0200 in the morning!  When calling the number back, all I get is a fast busy signal.  Would love to track down the caller and help them move on to the next life.

Had several calls from this number over the last few months. Today's one left a one word "Hello?" voicemail, with no identifying info.

We also received a call from this number today and we did not pick up.  Caller did not leave a message.

I didn't pick up because they called my house at 6:15am. No message left and when I called back the phone number it doesn't even ring, just goes to silence and disconnects.

This person called and tried to get credit card numbers from our business, posing as a good customer who had been mugged. Then started swearing at me.

Received call and answering machine picked up. No message left. Checked this board to find out more information about who called.

The call is coming from a calling card.  The network carrier is a group called "Pac-West" but they are only the network carrier.  The calling card could be any of who-knows-how-many.  Also, it could be a call being made through VOIP.

Got a call from this number, a recording was offering a carpet cleaning, I hung-up, tried to call number back (blocked my number) first it was a fast busy signal, 2nd time I tried called back someone answered but hung up. I will try to find out who this idiot is...

GOt a call from this number, a recording offering a carpet cleaning deal.  tells me to press 8 to schedule an appt then hangs hangs up.

Someone called with a very heavy accent from this number saying how good a job I did on a case (I'm a lawyer) and wanting to talk to me. I never heard of the guy. When my secretary called back to set a phone conference she could get nothing but the fast busy signal.

Guy called left a garbled message about needing to talk to me about something and referenced some account number. I did not call him back.  Sounds like someone in a foreign country using a US Skype or VOIP number trying to sell me something or some sort of scam

strange call. this must be a phone gateway (voice over ip? vonage?) number. mine was like he was on meth talking 100 miles an hour. very weird. said phone call was from pacifica, ca.

Indian accent.  Asked me about my business and what type of law I practice.  He then asked me to confirm my business address.  I asked him what this was about, who he was, etc. He said he was going to be in my area and wanted to meet with me, but would only provide his first name (something foreign that I did not recognize).  He then asked about what school I graduated from.
