There is a way to sign up for a FREE service called nomorobo to stop these annoying robocalls. My problem is that my landline carrier, AT&T, currently doesn't support Nomorobo because they need to add the Simultaneous Ringing rejection capabilities to their service. I've called AT&T months ago, as the Nomorobo.com page suggested, to request they help stop spam calls with this, but they don't seem to care and have no solutions of their own that worked (yes I even paid extra for one of their products that was supped to help, of course... it didn't!
SO, I decided to use AT&T's call forwarding service to make AT&T understand the problem a little better and I suggest others do the same.  
After I get a spam call I enter it into my "call forwarding list" (*63). The number I have dialed in for the call forwarding is: AT&T (Traditional Landline) Customer Service 1-800-288-2020 (make sure you use the number "one" in your entry).
I'm hoping if they start to get the same number of spam calls I get - they'll decide it's worth stopping the problem.

Calls 3x every day and hangs up. When you call back all you get is hold music.

Well here is a new # calling me - will try to block them on my phone but running out of call blck numbers ! I read earlier post about solar company - do they just get a list from the dnc registry & completely disregard it ? they should have to pay me to make a call if i am on that list - come on govt work harder to stop this crap

This was the 3rd call.  Caller ID shows "Out of Area", so did not answer.  

This number has been blocked so I don't have to deal with these IDIOTS again!

Continually receive calls from this number and do not answer and no message is left. This is annoying and a big interuption  for me!

Low life robocallers for a free energy inspection as a gimmick to fleece you of your identity. Don't do business with them. Only likely result is to get your identity and money. Pressing to be removed may record your number so it can be sold to other lowlife.

I also have Comcast, but not the telephone. You might want to check Ooma, which appears to have unlimited call blocking. (I am not affiliated in any way with Ooma, but it has been a good service).  The only problem is that VOIP calls (such as these energy rebate lowlife) use caller id spoofing, and call blocking may not always be effective.

Received their two calls today on my answering machine, they left no message. I called them back several times today - this morning, this afternoon, this evening at 8PM..their line rang busy each time. Maybe they aren't answering their calls any more - just like us not answering theirs! He-he-he!

Arrrrgh, they just called again, 1 hour after the last call.  I unblocked it and NOMOROBO let it through.  Reported to nomorobo.

They call almost every day... twice in the past 10 minutes.  I'm blocking them now.

Received this scam solar call on 4-9-14 a number I had recognized that I have received before. I of course did not answer it. As with all these phony scam telemarketer no message was lift. About 5 minutes later I received a call from a call from a phone number 714-332-6116 which is another scam solar telemarketer. What these scam artist do is call you with one phony number and if you do not answer the phone they use another phony number.

two alls on my landline in the last half hour from them. didn't answer.  they hung up on answering machine.

These idiots called again this morning and my phone blocked them--as it always does.  My phone says they started calling 3/31, and have called almost every day since.  Since they are blocked (and I have "first ring suppression") turned on, I never hear their calls.

I also signed up for NOMOROBO today, so it looks like my phone (Panasonic DECT 6, 250 blocked numbers available) beats nomorobo to the hang-up punch.  Will have to delete this number from my blocked list to see if nomorobo works.

If you use OOMA as your phone system you are largely protected by their "community blacklist", but for the new #s that get through that you can block up to 250 numbers on your own - and by doing so contribute that knowledge to the "community"..

Some idiot left a message telling me he could drastically lower my utility bills.  Really?  Wow, let me get right on that.  Aggravating morons.

Got more than 6 calls from this number in the last 4 days.  Finally answered and pushed the number to talk with a live person.  Explained we were never going to talk to anyone about installing solar panels on our roof and have no interest in the program and that we are on the DNC registry and NOT to call again.  Probably won't work, but I couldn't take the incessant ringing w/ hangups.  I filed a report with the FCC too, and noted the last 4 dates/times I had been spammed by the same number.  ARRGGGHHHHHHH.

They claimed they do not do direct sales (right) and that they 'refer' clients to local installers.  That should not allow them to get around the FCC DNC registry rules.  They are certainly NOT a non-profit.

Nomorobo barely entails anything. It will rid you almost completely of these annoying phone calls and you're just foolish for not taking advantage of this wonderful FREE service.  Or you could spend $100 & buy phones that will block 250 numbers.

Getting calls from this number several times a day for days now. I don't answer but how do I stop this?

Just remembered a great way to get on a DNC list.  Chew their ear off when they call, talk about your pet (in the first person) yourself (in the third person), ask them all about themselves, tell them ALL about crazy, lonely you, invite them to a religious service....after they hang up call them back and do the same to however picks up.

My aunt from Pasadena (had a little money and was incessantly called) passed this along.  You must be convincing, it works and it's a riot.  

is there any other way to block these annoying calls? i have asked comcast to allow more than 12 numbers to be blocked. i have looked into nomorobo (sp?) and don't want to sign up for all that entails. any ideas? these guys are such a pain!

received several calls yesterday and several more today already.  i have blocked them.  yet another number to block.  so tired of all these spammy calls.
