Got a call from same name and number. The gentleman on other end claimed to be from a magazine that has elected one of my bosses as  Wealth Advisor of the year and will be featured in his magazine.My boss retrieves his message from them and happily told me of the good news. Unfortunately, I had to tell him it was a scam!!!!!!!!!!

I just received a call from this number.  I have my number on three Do Not Call Lists and the phone company I do business with.  I don't know how they got my number, but I did not answer, if I do not recognize the number as to someone I gave my number to, I do not answer.  I do not want them to call back, I am very sick and I can't sit up and take this getting in to my private phone number.

Caller,a female, stated she was taking survey of financial advisors for a local magazine, and wanted to know if I had a personal rep I thought should be recognized. She said she would "call back in a week".

received a call from Ashley saying she was from qmi research?  i hung up.

Says she was doing research for Texas Monthly magazine looking for best financial advisors.  You mean there really are some now!

Caller ID said Forte Partners.  When I answered, they said they were doing a survey on banks.  I gave them my usual answer that I don't answer questions.

Same thing as Melody. I called and the voice mail said Patty Johnson, I did however leave a message. I told Patty that I have no business with her company and to remove me from their calling list. My caller ID named the company as Forte Partners. I did a google search and found nothing so I googled the phone number and found this site.

Call on 3-4-08 from 'Kathy' who says they are doing research. I gave her my standard reply: "I do not participate in telephone surveys; Please put me on your Do Not Call List."

Most surprised by the call.  At night asking personal questions about my financial planner.  I felt it was a scam and invasion of privacy.  They mentioned 5280 and Colorado Biz doing a survey together.  This would never happen.  I know both publishers and they would never team up with something like this.  They are both too sophisticated and very locally involved.   Beware.

I received a call from this number and spoke to a very intelligent and respectful lady.  They are doing research for recommending wealth managers to be recognized in my city's magazine.  Kind of a "Who's Who" for local professionals.  I have seen the section in another city's magazine (Chicago) and it is very useful info for consumers to see.

Call received at10:52 am, on March 22, 2008, asking for alias name...

i also received a call from this # on 1-10-08. caller id says Forte Partners.

Looking to find out who this number is for.
