comes through as "Out of Area". Has a local area code. Left no message. We never answer any unknown calls. Yes, we are on the do not call list. Just don't answer! The $10.00 monthly charge for caller ID is the best money I spend every month!! Don't know, don't answer. if it is important, they will leave a message...which they do not!!!

Called our home tonight(8:45pm in fact. I have young kids I am trying to put to bed!). I let it go to VM, but they didn't leave a message. I am so sick of all of these scammers-STOP CALLING OUR HOME!

Received a call from this number today and when I answered, they hung up; so, I googled the number and ended up here.  We are also on the Do Not Call list.

Set up call rejection the last couple of days.  On my list was 651-314-8068 which has called MANY times.  They say my first name over my answering machine message.  

Tonight at 8:45PM the scum called this time using 651-314-0068.  They say my first name only this time there was cuss words and then my name.  

This number has now also been blocked.  

This was copied from Childrens Cancer Research Fund website located in Minnesota.  I will contact the MN Attorney General office and hope you will do the same.

Unfortunately, this isn?t the first time and won?t be the last that we are confused with an entity making aggressive pleas for donations. There is very little we can do other than continue to monitor and report their activities. We would encourage you to contact them and asked to be removed from their calling list.

4/1/14  1PM - Female asking for me by first name speaking over my answering machine message so nothing will be recorded.

They began calling using 651-314-0068 Childrens Cancer on March 24, 2013.  Called again twice in May 2013, Once in July 2013,  Once in August 2013 and Once in October 2013.

This is not a legitimate caller - yet they are determined to continue the phone harassment.  I NEVER answer unknown numbers or unknown callers.

7th time calling - they never leave a message.

This is scammer calling under the name of Children's Cancer Fund to trick you into answering the phone and steal your information.

The caller is not a legitimate non-profit organization.

I received a call from 651-314-0068. The lady caller said she was from the Childrens Cancer Recovery Foundation and asked for a donation. She said if I would agree to make a small donation she would send me something in the mail. When I agreed she asked me to wait on the line for the person who would verify that I made a small one-time commitment. When the verification lady came on the line she asked for my credit card number. I told her I wasn't comfortable giving her my credit card number, because this was a solicitation call and I have no way to verify if they are who they say they are. She said they prefer to receive donation via debit or credit card rather than send a commitment card in the mail. I refused to give her my credit card. Now I see (via Google search) that the major part of the donation goes to the solicitor. I'm glad I did not give the caller my credit card number.

This person called snd asked for my husband and he wasn't here, so she asked if I was the wife and I said yes and she said I could help her.  She said she was calling from the Children's Cancer Recovery Fdn and starting reading her spill on these poor children who could use our money blah blah blah.  I was going to tell her to send us the info in the mail, but each time I tried to interrupt her, she started talking louder and faster and wouldn't let me speak. I finally started yelling then that I wasn't interested and told her she was a persistent bully and bi***, and she was still trying to overpower me with her spill so I hung up on her.  Sorry, no donation now!!!  What a bully!  I am calling this place tomorrow and reporting her.

Caller ID stated Lake City, MN.  No message left.  I will block number with the iPhone "block" capability.  Thanks for all of the past messages.

5th phone call - previous calls 3/24, 5/29, 5/30, 7/24.  Twice they asked for me by my first name talking over my answering machine message.  In doing this action, they are not recorded.

IF Children's Cancer fund was legitimate, they would not be using robo dialers, harassing the public.

I never answer unknown callers and subscribe to caller ID for a reason.

Amazing country we have here. People may need a job so some questionable charity may hire them to make calls. Or they buy a line and number on local companies and use their auto-dialers on that line.
Most of those charities seem to be working for a bigger salary for the owner. CNN ran a story on a family that runs some charities collecting money to help children with cancer.
The people running it take most of the money in salary.
Let the answering machine pick up. No answer as usual with most companies, legit or not.
This country is too concerned with being rich that even providing the simplest jobs are gone with the abuse of technology to make legit business people and crooks rich by not having to hire people. The same people these pathetic parasites keep trying to rip off thinking we are all stupid.
Too bad they were raised by parents that succeeded in their scams and taught their kids this is the only way to make a living.

I received a call from 651-314-0068.  They asked if it was "(my name)."  I answered yes, although I usually answer by asking "Who is calling?"

The caller said "never mind," refused to identify herself, and hung up.

I dialed the number of the caller and received a recorded message about a "Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation."  There was no was to speak to anyone unless you left your name, phone number, and if, available, your gift number.

This is, at least, telemarketing.  I am on the no-call list, and have no relationship with this organization, so they aren't allowed to do this.

Moreover, it was rude and I suspect it is a scam.

Onvoy is just the local telephone company that has the phone number.  Don't be so naive.

This is just another scam telemarketer who spoofs "Childrens Cancer..." to make you think it's some worthy charity.  They aren't collecting money for children or cancer anything.  They are collecting your credit card # or bank account # so they can rob you silly.

NEVER donate over the telephone these days.  The caller can spoof any name they wish.  Even those of legitimate charites.
