Who is this calling me?

They called me just now, 12pm CST.

I missed the call as I am at work. They left no message, I tried calling back to receive a 'this number is no longer in service'.

they just called me too.(im in colorado) woke me up from a deep sleep. tried calling back and said this number has been disconnected. called from my girlfriends phone (chicago phone number) and got a different message. makes me think its a rather big company with a server farm.

they just called my cell phone i didn't answer and looked the number up,I'm in Ky,i don't understand how these type of people can call from these numbers and harass people and use up the minutes on our phones,the government should put a stop to it! just track the numbers down and lock up every individual on the premises,some prison time(like 6 months for every person they harass on the phone!) would make these idiots leave people alone!I'm sick of getting these calls also just like everybody else,i get at least 1 call every day! from some sort of scammer and so does my son he is in high school! as well as my daughter and my daughter is 13 years old! and has a pre paid phone that i have to buy minutes for,something drastic needs to be done with these people,I'm going to speak to an attorney and see if i cant start law suites against these people for wasting my money and my time!

They just called my number. I didn't answer, but tried to call back. Must be magic that a disconnected number can call everyone. Good grief. I'm in Missouri, by the way.

How do you get your cell phone blocked?  I'm tired of these calls

moments later another call.....001100029 showed, I answered and said nothing...message came on about my CC had be locked for security reasons (Max Federal credit union) I know of this scam, but I entered 1 to talk to someone. Automated voice asked for my cc number to verify. I made up a visa #. It read back the number and said this number is invalid, enter another nuber...etc. I am sure it was logging all numbers to try and as long as I entered the numbers, it would take them. This message I have gotten before, but this time the message had another phrase..."warning, entering a false number will close your account"

I googles this number and found this site- if you call it back it says it is disconnected
they are definitely branching out as I am in Canada

Seems like everyone is having the same problem with this number. Really nice when you have two people in bad health in the nursing home and your cell phone rings while your on the road.(Only the nursing home and my sister have my number).

Thats the second phone call today from two of these insurance scammers. What a bunch of jerks.

Received unsolicited call on my cell 5/7 at 5 PM EDT and again at 8 PM EDT. Did not answer either. Googled. Ended up here.

They called again today with a new number:

I answered in another language (and it proceeded, so what you say isn't important), then ignored the entire (short) message, so I don't remember it. At the end you're asked to press 1 to hear more information. If you don't, the call is disconnected.

Since I'm nearly out of minutes on a disposable phone, I'll simply change the number. I advise anyone who has EVER answered one of these calls to do the same, and as far as "why?" -- because spam is worth it--and "how?"--because we all have 10-digit numbers. It has nothing to do with you at all--they just picked a group of numbers and started dialing. If you answer...well now they know you answered once, don't they?

I'm in Canada and I got the call.  Same they called at 9:00 this morning and now the line is disconnected.  Too creepy, eh?

I got this call on my cell phone, didn't answer because I didn't recognize number, but would like for these calls to stop. My cell phone is used for emergencies only. How can they find our cell numbers? There should be a law against using our cell numbers. I thought having a cell phone was one of the reasons we didn't want telemarketers and other solicitors calling us. Now seems if they can't reach us at home, they hound us on our cells.  This needs to stop.

So...pick up the phone, dial a random number, and see if someone answers. Without meaning to be rude, it's not rocket science. Also, there is a law. It's a mistake to assume the law is enough. The whole point of this is that they don't think like we do.

They called me on my cell tree times: May 7  7:19PM, May 8 12:18 and 12:42 (both PM) I have strict policy to myself: I do not answer anonymous and not of my local area codes (there are 3 of them) calls. My experience is if you get something like that - it is either a telemarketer or con artist, or 2 in 1!
I have ignored all 3 calls and will continue ignore them!

Got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Trying to sell health insurance?  I tried to call it back, but got the "all circuits are busy" message.  I just called back again, and now it's disconnected.  Pussies.....

They just called me and hung up. Called back and said line was disconnected.

UGH! They called me a little before 3 o'clock! What the heck?! I'm not going to waste my time calling it back...

No CID. Answered, waited a second, then said "Hello."

There was a pause, then a woman's voice:
"This is a message from the National Healthcare Associati..."

at which point I hung up.

I just noticed this on my caller ID from 6pm this evening. Googled it to see that it's a MN area code and saw this. How are these places getting our cell phone numbers?

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone.  I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  I called the number from my land line and got an operator message that this number has been disconnected.

Same here.  Called my Verizon business cell.  No answer on other end.  Called back, and number has been disconnected.  Obviously they are spoofing the DID so they cannot be identified.

1-651-644-1452 Got a recording trying to sell me health care plan - I'd like to know where they got my cell phone number. I have a pay-by-the-minute plan and resent paying to listen to an unsolicited ad.

This is the 2nd one in two days - the other one was on 1-970-420-2408!

This call came on my cell phone and I did not answer it.  Never used to get calls like this on my cell.
