I had a 5 day vacation from these scammers.  Now it begins again.  The phone rang 14 times before they disconnected.  I just refuse to pick up no matter how many times it rings.

4th call from this number in the past 6 weeks - This is the first time they left a message that began when my answering was about to pick up.  Non stop recording of a female speaking perfect English rambled on about receiving $3K in certificates to use anyplace for free as part of the National Senior Assistance Program.  In addition I would receive FREE life saving alert braclet or necklace, blah, blah.  Long recording.  

DNC cannot STOP all telemarketers.  It does an amazing job providing the telemarketer follows the policies by obtaining the list.

IF you answer then your number is sold to other scammers.  They are not interested in removing your phone number regardless what they tell you on the call.

I agree.  This looks like another scam to get SS and Medicare info.  I am sure they also want a Credit Card to cover shipping etc.

Why isn't the Minnesota AG proactive on this?

FOURTH robocall from this same 651-760-8362 caller ID said "Unknown Name" on Thursday 9-28-13 @ 730 PM = answered and no one was on the line.

= rang 3 times picked up and there was nothing.

SIXTH robocall from this same 651-760-8362 caller ID said "Unknown Name" on Saturday 9-28-13 @ 352 PM

the message FINALLY came on this time ....then their "music to soothe the pigeon"   .....shortly then a guy answered and asked my name and I gave him a fake name.
He then asked me if this was "the best number to reach me at if we got disconnected."
Told him "It sure was." and I immediately started at full 'blast' volume my "Raunchy Cussing/Swearing YouTube Rant"......he was still there after 2 minutes...asked him how he liked it.....and went right back playing the YT rant again. That SCAMMER must have just luved all the Cussing & Swearing because he stayed on the line for over 11 minutes ( about 4 complete plays of the YT rant). After playing the end of the rant 10 times for him it was time =
" to cut this SCAMMER loose so he could scrounge up some other fish."

Another call from  this number at 12 noon.  Rang 14 times.  They immediately called back and it rang 14 times.  I looked for a Minnesota Do Not Call Registry (as I said in my post of 2 days ago).  Did not find one. I guess I'm just going to have to put up with this until I can find a call blocker.  Does anyone have a suggestion for the best make and model?

I have been receiving these calls regularly. Track the numbers, but don't answer. Then submit a complaint to the Minnesota State Attorney General. Contact information for the AG can be obtained on-line. It might be time for the victims of this phone harassment to hold the phone carrier legally responsible (class-action lawsuit) if the people behind this scam can't be identified and held accountable.

Got another call from this number shortly before 9 PM.  Phone rang about 15 times,  Then they immediately called back and it ring 13 times.  If there is such a thing as a Minnesota Do Not Call Registry I'm going to sign up as soon as I finish this posting.

This number called leaving no message, since it was from my home state, I tried calling it back and it wouldn't even ring, so I'm thinkin robot call... hate'em

DONT ANSWER.  A SCAM OFFERING A $3000 (yeah right) FOOD VOUCHER IF YOU GET THEIR MEDICAL ALERT BRACELET.  THIS IS A ROBOCALL AND ASKED AGAIN TO NOT CALL AGAIN.  FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE NDNC.  CALLER ID SHOWS MINNEAPOLIS, MN.

I am SO sick of getting these calls.  It's non-stop.  
Why can't something be done about it.
I had over 20 bogus calls in 1 week.

9/18/13 4th call.  Standard call, hangs up seconds before answering machine.  Calls typically are in the evening around 8pm.  I never answer unknown calls.  Hoping they move on and call someone who cares.

Got another call from this number.  Caller ID said Minneapolis, MN and the phone number.  I was home and had the answering machine off.  When I saw the number, I thought it was from my cousin in Minneapolis.  I turned on the answering machine (because I didn't want to talk to him at that time).  The phone continued to ring until the answering machine kicked on.  The caller must have heard the answering machine because they hung up.  I turned the answering machine off again.  They immediately called back and let the phone ring about 8 times.  If this number is from Senior Life Alert telemarketing, why are they exempt from the federal  Do Not Call Registry?  Also, if they are a legitimate telemarketing business, why don'[t they have to list their name on Caller ID?  Why can they just post themselves as Minneapolis, MN?

Caller ID said Minneapolis, MN and the phone number.  Since I was home I had my answering machine turned off.  (My  answering machine will turn on if the caller lets the phone ring more than 10 rings).  After the 5th or 6th ring, I turned on the answering machine and immediately turned it off again.  I repeat this after each additional 5 rings.  Generally scammers only let the phone ring 3 to 5 rings and then hang up.  This caller let it ring for 21 rings.  I thought it might have been a legitimate call, so immediately Googled the number.  Was surprised to see it was indeed a scammer's number.  If this number is from Senior Life Alert telemarketing, why are they exempt from the federal No Not Call Registry?  Any answers would be appreciated.  Also, under Call Type, one of the types is SMS.  What is an SMS call?  Thank you.

TELL HER her phone # is all over the internet as a scammer. I did, along with other various calls, & they stop!

The Federal no call list covers certain numbers to be blocked,however if you want all all marketing calls blocked including calls from your provider you must request that local no call list form from your phone provider.National companies buy up localized numbers in every city to skirt the federal law.Most people are unaware that there are two no call lists.Fed and State.

same number as call on Wednesday 8-21-13 @ 435 PM.  Forged local Phone number to make one think that the call might be someone you know. Phone rang 3 times and I picked up said "Hello" about 5 times - no recording - no answer - just dead air =  then shortly a disconnect.

i have received numerous calls from this number even after I choose the number to "receive no more calls"!!!
How does one stop these ?

Do Not Call list is NOT capable of eliminating ALL solicitation calls - so blaming them for your calls is a mistake.  

Callers are to purchase the DNC list from the states they are calling - sadly that probably does not happen as often as it should.

I have received three calls from this phone number which began on 8/19 and calls received 9/3 and 9/10.  Each time it is three rings and hangs up before my answering machine picks up.  

I use my caller ID and ignore unknown callers and unknown numbers.

Since DNC my random calls were reduced about 95%.

They don't even identify their company!   Why do these people continue to get away with these calling practices? They prey on seniors, and for some the stress could be life-threatening. I get calls from many different numbers - are they really trying to sell something, or is there another agenda involved? I block the numbers on my phone as I receive them, and so far I have 14 different numbers, most of them from individual area codes. All of them from some kind of senior life alert company. Seems to me they could do something about this...

PLEASE...Seniors, do not fall for this - NOTHING is free!  NEVER give up your personal information to unidentified callers!!!

I am getting many calls per day from this phone number. They start out offering some kind of $3000.00 food program, and then move to medical alerts systems that I could purchase. I want it to stop !
This is clearly a business and should be prevented from this kind of operation.
