They are not only calling my cell phone but they are now calling my place of work.  An INdian man is telling me I have a law suite against me and I owe money.  I do not owe ANYONE money.  I told him 3 times to STOP calling my cell phone and My place of Employment.,  He kept calling me saying what are you talking about....this isnt a scam you owe money do you want to hear about it or be arrested.....I told him again DO NOT CALL ME! and Hung up

Indian guy called and left it on my voice mail and says  I will be arrested such a scam

I too just got the call and got threatened too. When I told him I was in law enforcement he hung up fast

These people are ridiculous. Told me I was being sued by a cash loan company even though Ive never taken out a cash loan. Asked to speak to a manager and he told me to "F OFF" when I called him out on this scam. What a joke! Is there anything that can be done about these clowns?

Got the same call from this number! I didn't answer but he left a message. He said his name was Mark Cooper and either me or ny attorney needed to call him. And if we didn't he said I will just say good luck to you. He was very rude in the message!

I got the exact same call today!

I just called him and advised him he was a scam and he said "prepare to be arrested."  riiiight

I to had this exact same call and let me tell ya its not just from this number and when you do block it they find another number to call you on!  They called at my work this time!!  They are blowing up my cellphone daily and these calls are coming from Florida, Missouri, New York and Chicago!!  mostly foreigners that try and threaten and harrass you.  

Called me at least 4x today same thing as previous. These people are the ones who need to be threatened with legal action

I too had the same phone call and the same rhetoric. His name was Mark Cooper. I asked him to fax me the paperwork because I didn't recognize the name of the debtor. He refused and told me I would get paperwork tomorrow morning when they came to arrest me.
I thanked him and told him if he called my job again we would report his number to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and that he was violating the  federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, a United States statute enacted in 1978, which  seeks to eliminate abusive and harassing behaviors that debt and collection agencies often engage in. The FDCPA states specific practices and rules under which debt collectors can and can not operate, and offer specific penalties for agencies found breaking this law.

Just called by someone with Indian accent telling me I owed $8000 and I needed to pay up or he was going to have the cops come and arrest me at my place of business.  Unbelievable!  SCAM!

He lied. Your caller is nothing more than a foreign extortionist scammer.  Debt is civil, not criminal, so even if you had defaulted on a loan, you cannot be arrested and detained.  Block the number - you may have a number block feature on your phone, or assign a "no ring" tone so you don't have to put up with the calls.  Otherwise, just ignore the calls.

THIS INDIAN MALE CALLER TOLD ME I NEEDED TO RESOLVE THIS LEGAL MATTER AND I NEEDED TO PAY $489.32 OR I WILL HAVE A COP SHOW UP AT MY DOOR TOMORROW MORNING AND I WOULD BE TAKING A RIDE IN A COP CAR AND I WOULD BE DETAINED FOR 7 DAYS AND IT WILL NOW COST ME OVER $8000.00 TO RESOLVE THIS LEGAL MATTER

They called me 7 time oretty much back to back. Left me a message saying they were a law office. I called back a man with an Indian voice told me I needed to pay them $4,800.32 that day or police would be dragging me out of my work and good luck getting out of it. I hung up immediately it was none sense.
