I have received similar calls and sent the following to my state attorney general.

Threatening & harassing phone calls by people impersonating officers.  The call my work phone & my cell phone stating they are with a "Law Office" or more recently "Cyber Crime Unit Law Office".  I have been told that they will garnish my wages, I will get arrested and go to jail. "The situation is extremely time sensitive."   I have never listened long enough for them to explain what it is for other than they are looking for money.  From similar reports that I've read, they say that I owe pack a payday loan.  Which could not be the case since I owe no one any money at all.

The calls are extremely threatening.  The callers threaten jail time, wage garnishments, etc.  The callers have a very strong accent but use very common American names, such as John Smith

Called my cell phone several times - Officer Danny Brown from the Dept of Law & Justice in reference to a case & complaint with my name & social security #. "Don't ever try to disregard this message".  Then his name changed to Mark Benson by the end of the voice mail. "Call be back, otherwise I'm extremely sorry, you will be arrested."

This is the number that they leave for a callback number, but the number that shows when my phone is ringing is 1 000 0.  I know that these claims about a federal matter and the fact that I owe for a loan over the computer is bogus.  Yet, it is scary because they have all my information.  I had to contact my bank and make it so that no wireless money transactions for debits go through without contacting me first.  It is a big hassle, but it is the only way that I know how to keep them from trying to take monies out of my account.  I have reported this to the St Cloud Police Department as well as the Benton County Sheriffs office.DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, I no longer even answer the phone when I see that it isn't a number that I recoginize.  You may want to save these messages because if they do get caught, then you have proof of the harassment.

I am getting calls from these people too. Its obviously a scam. I reported them to the FTC and will be reporting them to my State's Attorney. Please do the same so these people will be found.

Call from Christopher Jackson of Cyber Crime Unit located at 1432 Hoffman lane, Berkley, CA 94730 and phone number of 818-659-5711.  Informed collecting for Quick Cash-internet pay day loan but would not provide any documentation.  I just informed them unless they wish to mail me documentation on this not to contact me any further and if they continue call my business I will know they are a scam.
Firmly tell them you have posted their information with the Federal Trade Commission, and the States Attorneys office.  Play with them.  Remember bully the bully.  I make up stuff like the telling them their calls are being traced and to go ahead and keep calling me it only gives the agencies more proof on them.

I too have received calls from this number, first from a man with an asian accent, then a month later from a woman with a heavy accent.  Both calls tell me to immediately respond to the phone call if I do not, all they can do is wish me good luck. When I return the call I get an answering maching so I leave a message to provide with all the information according to State and Federal laws, and I also state that their number and organization is on all the SCAM Websites and I have reported them to the FCC.  After I leave this message, they do not call me back.  Until a month or so later, and the process starts over once again.

When will these people realized that we are on to them....No legitimate business or collection agency conducts business in this manner, also all collections against a person must be in writing that is the LAW,

I had this message waiting for me when I got to work this morning. Have no fear of these people and for God's sake, do not send them any money.

And Hotline to my division 661-240-9237. Don?t disregard this message, return the call. Now. If you don?t return the call or I don?t hear from your attorney either, the only thing I can do is (unintelligible words here) as the situation unfolds on you ___. Goodbye.

All the while trying in vain not to have a middle east accent (laughable try)

I hope these guys understand that they can call me all they want and it won't make up for muhammed being a pedophile and rapist with a God complex.

They claim they know all your information, but when asked, they tell you they cant give you that over the phone, such as, how much was the payday loan, what bank account and what date was this taken out.  Nothing but scammers.  Report them to every agency you can think of, even tho they are out of the country and routing their calls through California, eventually someone will shut them down.

Report them to the attorney generals office, its nothing but scammers.  A couple weeks ago, one of the news channels out here in Phoenix aired a big story about those people.  Dont play their games, do not give them any information.

A man using the name "Chris Jackson" called claiming to be from the Cyber Crime Unit Law Office, said he was collecting on a payday loan...which is something I never had, he had all my banking and personnal information.  I have turned them over to the Attorney Generals Office, and I highly suggest anyone that receives calls from that number to do the same.  There was a huge article on tv about that company.... THEY ARE SCAMMERS !!!!    Be careful not to give them any information, just hang up on them

i keep getting these calls at work im scared i have been taking pills for anxiety now i dont know what to do i dont them money and they treaten me and say in message john smith law officer then u call and its a heavy accent ???? what the hell im scared cause they have all my information but i put a fraud alert on my social security now but dnt know if thats enough???

I spoke with these clowns on my business phone yesterday, told them not to call my business phone because i can not take personal calls, which is not true but still, i said that i could lose my job if they kept calling my business phone.  They than called my business phone again this morning, my boss answered and took a message for me.  I called when I got into work and spoke with a lady and told her that I wish to dispute this "quick cash" loan I have no recollection of receiving.  I also told her that I can not receive personal calls on my business line and that after I told the man I spoke with the day before that, but they still called my business line, she said that the person would be reprimanded and that I would no longer receive these calls on my business phone.  About 15 minutes later a man called my business phone with the same heavy accent as the rest of the people I spoke with regarding this.  I informed him that his company was told not to call my business line for personal reasons and that it was against better business regulations to call a number you know to be a business line for personal reasons unless you have permission.  He was than very rude and said I was going  to jail, I asked he call me on my cell to continue the conversation.  He called on my cell and continued to be rude, I insisted that there was no reason to be so rude because I am disputing the claim.  He ensured me that 2 officers would be at my job shortly to pick me up.  It was comical and really wasn't much of a threat considering you can not be arrested for not paying a loan.  You can have civil action brought against you, but the most they can do is garnish your wages or have you sell your assets to repay the loan... not going to be the case for the $300 they claim I owe them, which I don't.  These people are specializing in harassment and scare tactics which do not work.  Collection agencies seem to have no ethics and are very rude and out-sourced somewhere in india... might be why they have such a low percentage of success.

IM GETTIN THE EXACT SAME THING BUT THEY CALLING MY JOB SAYIN IT AN EMERGENCY

I keep recieving calls from this number saying that i have federal charges against me for failing to pay a loan that i have no idea what they are talking about. When I ask for more info on it this matter, they get mad and start yelling and hang up the phone...smh They provided with a case # that's not even real. I Just wish it was some way to track them. Its kind of scary because they know all my information.
