I got a call from this number a few days ago, a man named Jack Williams said I got a payday loan and never repaid it, I was told serious actions would be taken if I did not pay he also said criminal charges would be filed against my social security number and good luck with my kid. This guy had a heavy accent I am not worried about it because I know it`s a scam , although he somehow has some of my personal info there is nothing he can do all he has is my phone # my ss# and address. I have no intention to pay the money he demands I know I do not owe it. He can try what ever he wants He gets mad and hangs up when I confront him on being a fraud then I laugh at him. I am not changing my number because I want to see how many different names and numbers he uses and save all the voice mail he leaves.

I just received  the threatening call at work and on my cell, Please advise how I can report this person for harrasement. I took the time to write this because he is very annoying and rude.

i also recieved a call from the same man ..and everytime i try and return his call no answer .. this has happend to me in the past and i was really scared so i did pay them 500 $$ this last call i got i sooo remembered their rude and threatening voice so i decided to check on the internet .. they continue to call me ..should i change my phone number ?  should i report it to the police

I recieved a call from those a***oles today... I called the F.B.I and they told me they are not comitting a crime??They have my personal info but there is no crime...F*** theese rag heads.. If find there address witch i'm working on they'll get theirs..

I recieved a phone call from this number early this morning from a male with an Indian accent stating "I or my attorney needed to call *Jack Williams* reference a legal case against me for a payday loan that I never did.. This is a scam and I've received several other calls like it from other numbers from other males with Indian Accents posing to be Police Officer or Sheriff Deputies stating I was being charged with 3 criminal charges and that I was going to be arrested  at my home or place of business if I didn't pay them $1300 for a another so called payday loan that I never did. From all the phone calls I've recieved, they sound like the same people, and when you challenge them, they curse you and make threats of violence towards you. I've contacted my local Police Department to file a report and I've found out these phone numbers are from prepaid cell phones and when their minutes run out, they get a new number and continue the bullsh*t phone calls. I was told they use the prepaid cell phones so they cannot be tracked. For example, they can get a prepaid cell phone online and order it from Indianapolis, IN, and they get a cell phone number shipped to them with a 317 area code, when really they are overseas somewhere or in another state.

What I've learned in my own research of these b*****ds, it seems as though all the people they call, has taken out a payday loan at some point in time in their life, and their information was either sold or hacked by these people.

These are scammers people.. My advice would be to either ignore them, or if they call you posing as Law Enforcement Officer's, save the voice mail they leave you, and contact your local Police Dept. Fraud Unit and make a report. Also, if you have any phone contact with them and if your on your cell phone, select the record option and record the phone conversation, that will also help with your Police Report if you choose to file one.

It's sad these people are still doing this. If you go to the FBI website, and search for payday loan scams, there's a big report on these people and what they're doing. The Feds are aware of it, but as I stated above, these people are hard to locate cause they could be anywhere.

When I first got a call from these people, it freaked me out also, cause I was like "Did I forget to pay something" but after actually talking to these idiots and listening to their BS story of the BS debt I owed, it was easily proven that they were full of crap. During one phone conversation, they actually accused me of not paying a payday loan, and said I was being charged with theft by deception, and check fraud. I asked them what date did I do this "loan" on, and they have me a date that I supposily received this loan into my back account. I looked through my back account, and searched through the entire month that they said I received this money and found out that they were full of crap, which I already knew.... So now everytime they call, I just have fun with them and piss them off to where they just cuss me and hang up on me..... That's another option you can do, it's actually pretty funny to listen to "Mr. Indian Man" get pissed.

If you get anymore calls from other numbers, always google it and post a comment, it will help others who are unaware of what these people are really about and will save a lot of people from doing something stupid, like actually paying these people, or sitting there stressing about it. I hope their a***s get locked up soon....

they called me today and said that i had a loan i did in 12/09 and i never even did that and they said that i could make arrangements or we could go to court did this happen to you and what should i do?

ditto the first message... scammers who will call your cell & work in attempt to commit fraud. Fortunately, we have local authorities in California looking into these low grade, hack, wannabe crooks....

Calls from this number always result in a person with a foreign accent asking for personal information or asking for your attorney to call. Scam Central!!!
