I received a call from this number 8:50 am, Philippine time.

I got this call early in the morning but did not pick it up, as I was still asleep. After searching it in the web and reading the posts above, I'm glad i didn't

I live in the UAE and have no friends or relative in Thailand.

if you are afraid to receive fraud calls, you can just ignore the phones calls and then check your voice mail. if it comes out the call is from somebody you know, you can call back that person's number. so you don't have to take the risk to answer that weird number.

I found out it was...
i got it just now but i didn't answer since the number is weird, so it went to my voice mail. i checked and found that it was my relative calling from asia (not thailand), but that number is NOT his phone number. my relative didn't use any long distance phone card. he just simply dialed directly to my cell phone. here's what i guess: a company own that telephone line to provide overseas telephone service. however, i'm not sure whether my situation was the same as yours.

Recieved two phone calls from this # as well as three unknown # between 10:30 and 11pm Pacific time one right after another and let them go right to voice mail. Most were hang ups but two were long messages in what I believe to be some form of asian that obviously made no sense to me. Before all of this I recieved a call from a 1-616-000-0 on my call display that was missing the last few digets. Because of the strange # I didn't pick it up thus started the 7 wacky calls.

that number has called me twice in 10 minutes...i didn't pick up cause it was so weird...where is it from?not associated with thailand...didn't book any vacations to thailand etc.

I was out tonight and came home... checked the numbers on the coller Id and I got this Phone number but no message... im on a new system and havent had this number for very long... im wondering who gets a hold of these numbers and sells/gives them to outside companys... i thougth that was illegal!!!

Hi, i received a call with the exact same number too. +6620707100. I have never been in Thailand, and i have nothing to do with thailand. So im also a little bit confused, how did they get  my number. Lets see where this ends....

I also received a call from this number. I assume it is because of my Thailand holidays I booked two week ago. I booked several hotels directly via internet and provided my phone number. Did somebody elso who reported a call from this number also book a holiday in Thailand?

I live in germany  and I got a call from the number excatly looks like "+6620707100" in my display.I did not answered because it was a bit strange number..then I decided to  make a little search and found this site after travelling some web sites in thailand.Is this a kinda fraud or an evolving industry  to force people to buy new phones with some special sofwares against of this trouble?well it is both side fraud..or not?
It is sure that this is an international business,namely there is an office out there somewhere with employees whose job is calling people permanently around the world and at this point I ask myself : how can they make money?
Can anyone make this issue clear,under the consideration that it seems a public issue?
