Be realistic!!!  If you all don't want to be bothered by phone calls from this number, or any unidentified number then let it go to voice mail and after that happens 3 times, they automatically remove your number. The other thing is nothing is instant!! When you request to be removed it could take up to 60 days. And....while I'm here is it really necessary to get so angry and use such foul language?? The person on the other end of the call is just trying to earn a living and doesn't deserve to be mistreated. Other users here don't deserve to be subjected to such childish behavior over an unwanted phone call either.

You could also set up call blocking and enter that number and next time they call you they will get a weird tone and the call won't ring on your end.

Called my cell phone. Did not recognize the number, ignored.  Did not leave a message.  Do not have any tax software, nor have I ever purchased any.  Suspicious of this as it could be a 'spoof'.

Sage Products is a company headquartered in the UK.  They have multiple locations in the US, including Lawrenceville GA - and sell a broad range of software.  Their US website is na.sage.com - check it out.  

This is a robbery scam...

Sage called today and didn't leave a message July 17th, 2013.  I bought the software several years ago and have upgraded several times but never through Sage because Office Depot or Sam's always had it around $100.  This is especially true if you wait and buy just after another upgrade is available even though you are always one upgrade behind.  However,  I can't upgrade any more due to their elimination of the user defined payroll tax tables.  They want you to have to buy their tax service so beware of any upgrade after 2012 if you use the user defined tax formulas.  I told them not to call me because I can't change due to that change.  Despite askeing them not to call they still do about twice a year.

They stopped for a while but now they are calling constantly again!! 2/21/13

This is Sage.  I get the call once a year.  You have to love the fact that they call you and put you on hold.

I bought thier accounting software 2 years ago and they have hounded me through mail, e mail and calls trying to get me to spend $300 to upgrade even after I have told them repeatedly I don't need to being as my company is a 1 man operation. What I have is more than enough. I should have gone with Quicken which is much more user friendly than SAGE Peachtree!!

I asked several times over and over to be removed from their mailing and other contact lists. This was like 10 years ago when I got a rebate to get the software free.  I will never ever do another SAGE rebate due to their lack of competent removal from lists when requested.

Not going to hold for a call that I answer and then have to hold while it rings on the other end.

It really is Sage.  I am an employee and got a call from this number.  They were just checking to see if I still had a phone with the company.

Same here. I have told them not to call me anymore but the continue to do so. The "rep" asked me if I had received the 2013 upgrade brochure in the mail. I told him I did but threw it away. Stopped him in his tracks. I then told him that if he or anyone from Sage called me again that I would report them to the FTC as well as the Do Not Call Registry.

They claim to be Sage Peachtree and they have information that Sage would have given them.  Highly aggressive liar trying to sell upgrades to Peachtree.  If I would have known they include this in their sales strategy, I never would have bought their archaic software to begin with.

This is the number for Sage Software, a legitimate business company. They called me about their Peachtree accounting package that I purchased a couple of years ago.

Got a call from this number, and it immediately went to someone's voicemail.
