This number keeps calling me. I didn't pick up the phone because I always get a weird calling after I order "bumpits" online. When I called back, the computer said that I ordered something from them. I didn't waste time continue listening.

Every since i ordered video professor i have been getting junk calls from all over. Do not order video professor, its a scam. After you pay the $6.95 they then charge 189.95 and start sending you other things charged at 189.95. They also apparently have sold my number to telemarketing companies.

I have received calls from this number too... early mornin Pacific. I didn't order Acai Berries, but did order Reg Cure, a software product that seems to have same web-based presence as Acai Berries... lots of popular logos like CNN, Google, etc. in their advertising and both are associated with a "review" website which happens to list their product as the #1 choice and happens to include an offer to sell the product to visitors of the review site. Pattern looks the same. Number and nature of complaints is similar. Both purchases followed by calls from the same mysterious phone number, perhaps done simply to confirm that the your phone number is real. Sounds like either a popular business model or multiple fronts for the same scammer.

I received a call from my credit card company asking if I charged a 1 cent charge to try to check my card. I told them no and they told me that is how scams start they get ahold of your number then check with a small amout to test it out then a week later they will charge large amounts. They canceled that card and reissused a new number for me. A week later I got a call from this number saying that I was a perferred customer concerning the credit card number(the # I had already canceled) and said I was intitled to a $100 gift card. I said to the person that the card was canceled and she hung up. I'm assuming she would of asked me to verify more information to get my card but I she realized I had reported it already. After reading some other comments on this web site, I realized they got my # from ordering Acai berry trial and sold that information to others. Please read on be and guard...........

I posted a message a few days ago about the acai berry situation.I just noticed that someone mentioned about the colon cleanse (which is often advertised to work well with the berry stuff) Anyway, so far I did not have a problem cancelling my "membership" with the colon cleanse company and was told to keep the product even if I didn't use it. I paid the shipping for a free trial so it was mine. I also received an email confirming my membership was canceled. The Berry stuff had to be returned registered receipt so I had proof of returning. Either way, BOTH charges were on a card that I have since canceled. The shipping charge I could live with - a small price to pay compared to other stories I have heard. Just cancel the cards used for any purchases. My bank told me they are receiving A LOT of complaints about these "companies" and the fact that phone numbers are being sold to other scammers. They are hoping someone is naive enough to provide the info they are missing. Ignore the calls...they will eventually go away.

Some lady just called and told me that they're sending me some $100 rebate in regards to one of my cc's and they would only charge $1.99 for the shipping that one time and then she rattled on about some other stuff and said that she was transferring me over to shipping & receiving. I hung up.

I received a call from this number and I actually talked to the guy who wanted to send me a package with a $100 gift card in it. I declined very nicely and he was very persistant. Finally I said I was busy and he called me a "Stupid A**". How's that for a professional telemarketer. Steer Clear Guys cause it's a SCAM.

I never purchased Acai Berry; however I did buy bumpits. Call your credit card company and inform them right away! I've been getting calls from them on a regular basis.

I'm glad to know after reading the comments about ordering the Acai product that I am not the only fairly intelligent person who was duped by AcaiPure. And, that sheds some light on the phone calls from the mysterious number that ironically began after I placed the order. I, too, fell for the scam and tried to cancel my order and eventually called customer service. The rep who answered tried to make me feel studid and said that I should have read the fine print at the bottom of the screen! He's right (in a sense) and I will never be hasty in ordering online again. However, the fine print was on the screen below the submit button. I told the rep this was an example of deceptive advertising. He disagreed and said most "smart" people would have scrolled down and read the whole ad. He lectured me and hung up after telling me that my order could not be cancelled as it was immediately put in the computer system and could not be retrieved. He said I should send it back when received and that he would cancel my "membership" that I never knew I was signing on for by simply ordering a free trial for the shipping and handling! After the lecture from the rep, he promptly hung-up on me!!!

Called me and didn't leave a message. I checked the location of where the phone is located and all I got was that they are in Atlanta South, GA. Then I got an arial view of where exactly and the are looks like a residential area. Looks like its a "work at home" telemarketer. Hope this is the last time.
| Missy 2011-06-06 20:53:59 Unknown |
Oh, and I live in California! So there's no reason for anyone to call me from that state.

Have received numerous calls from this number, usually early in the morning (west coast time). Rings twice then hangs up. Tried calling back but can't get through. One time I actually answered before it hung up there was a message about receiving an order from me and to press 1 to not get further calls. I really wish they would stop calling...
