called but when I called back it just kept ringing.

atlanta /atlana  " reward center " the person who answerd ,would not tell me what i was being rewarded for or with or how , untill i gave them,my personal info...scam/scam/scam/:"beware"

No award center, just some man asking for "Amber."  When I told him he had the wrong number, he said, "Well, isn't this --- --- ----?"  "Yes," I replied, "But there is no Amber here."  He then hung up sounding very dejected.

i am 64 years old and disabled and this number calls my phone 5 to 10 times a week and no one says anything.I dont have block service but i wish i did. If i could get my hands on the m.....f.... i would put his/her a... in the hospital.

I got this call today as well.
They seemed really nice, and asked harmless questions like if you won the money, what would you do with it.

They did try to get me to subscribe to their magazine thing, and they said that they are sending me a watch and a few free mags, but I honestly told them I didn't want to buy anything, so he thanked me for his time and said the free things would be to me soon and I'm still in the sweepstakes.

uh...

I got a call they asked for my roomate and I said that she wasn't here. I asked who it was and they wouldn't tell. Then they asked when my roomate would be back and I said I am not sure and I asked if I could take a message, they refused to leave a message and hung up.

i just got a call saying that i won 25,000 dollars. This is how our conversation went:
him: What would you spend all of this money on?
me: I would bye many things.
him: Well we have to verify that you are 21 years or older.
me: Im only 14 but my mom is older than 21.
him: Honesty counts but you won the money not your mom.
me: (im getting pissed) But i am from my mom so why cant she collect the money for me.
him: You will be getting called back in seven years so you can have you money.
me: OK BYE!!!! (thinking: dammit that stupid a** mother f****r just wasted 10 minutes of my life i hope he dies in seven years)

Got a call from this number today. I answered, they asked for me and said that I had won some $25,000 prizes and some other ramblings. I asked what company it was and he said something down in Georgia. Guy had a really crappy southern accent, and couldnt even tell me what city he was in. I hung up once he asked what I would do to get this $25,000....which I had apparently already won.

Everyone should report these calls.  Phone fruad is a huge crime and the more reports law agencies get on these guys the faster we can get them locked up

They called me as well today. Same as Sophie except i gave them some info as well. They ended up wanting me to subscribe to a magazine or something. I told them i wasn't interested in the subscriptions and then they abruptly hung up.

I also asked what this company was and how i entered for this drawing and she told me that it was through visa/mastercard.

Im really confused about wtf this was???

Answered the call and they asked for me, I said it was me. Then I couldn't understand what else they were saying so i hung up.

I got the same thing as Sophie except i stupidly gave some info. They asked me for my birth year, marital status, occupation, monthly salary, and whether i had children...I called back and someone answered the phone saying award or ward center atlanta...any suggestions on what i should do, or can they use that info for something?

Got a call from them, they knew my name, told me I was a finalist in a $2500 sweepstake. They told me they were calling long distance from the ward center in GA or something like that. When I asked how I got entered into it they said I was a preferred customer with one of my cards and then listed all of the major credit cards, visa, mastercard, amex, etc. and asked which one I thought had the best service.  I told them I only had one card, and when they asked which one I told them to send me info in the mail and they hung up.

they told me i had won a 25000 $ sweepstake and wanted my credit card details.

Asked for me but wouldn't give me any details so I didn't take the call. Do you know who it is?
